hey i weigh 135 and i am losing 5 puonds a week by walking around my naborhghood and drinkin water insted of juice and stay in the rang of 1200 calares a day this stuff helped me so it should you to

i just want to say hello to everyoe and that i am 11years old and way 203 pounds (i used to way more) i just want to tell everyone that you can do it and this how#1 you need to cut down on food such as sodas you can have something sweet once in awhile but if you eat suger alot you are not geting eneywere #2 you need to walk you do not need those diet pills that promice you that you will lose wate that stuff is nothing NEED to walk and drink a lot of water some times exersize can be fun me and my mom ay the same thing and me and her walk alot me and her walked 8 miles last week and yes it was a long walk but if you walked along time you will feel proud of how you look in about 5 months just rember you can do it <

hi my name is McKylie...im 5'3 and I used to weigh 193 pounds...YEAH THAT'S BIG...the point is I was in denial for a long time about how overweight I really was. That was two years ago.Now I'm a freshmen in high school and I am down to 124 pounds. I still have some shape to me...I don't want to be a stick.I was so UNHAPPY when I was big. Now I get better grades,I have my first boyfriend, and this year I made cheerleader. All I did was act like I had had a gastric bypass. I know that sounds stupid...but it works.I told myself I could only have so and so ounces of food a day and all I drank was water. I told myself that if I ate more than I should...I have to burn it off. So every day after I got home from school,I walked down the road and back.It's about a mile.I also did 10 sit-ups every other day and push-ups every day that I didn't do sit-ups. i am 20 pounds overweight. My tummy is big. I do sit-ups every day and i think it is starting to work. I also stopped eating candy,cookies and soda.

Ok first of all avoid fad diets, they just don't work because if you go off of it you will gain all the weight back. Your better of doing something more healthy even if it takes longer becuase the weight will actually stay off. Basically the concept of losing weight is to burn more calories then you are eating. So try to eat healthier foods, not so much junk food. And try to not eat a lot because even though meat, vegtables and fruits are good for you if you eat to much of them they can lead to weight gain. So try to cut back on your servings. Also try to get a lot of exersise. Like 3 days a week for at least 30 minutes or something. Hope this helps. Being that you tried doing a diet here are some things try doing:
Slowly cut back. Say you have 10 sweets a day then cut back to 8 sweets. Say you have 10 junky foods a day go to 8. Replace the 2 items with healthy foods. Then later cut back to say 6 junky and 4 healthy.

Remember, if you want to lose weight, that's ok, but dont do it based on how your friends look! If you want to lose weight, you should only eat when you're hungry. Don't eat for pleasure, even though it may be tempting. I hope I helped!

Hey Bethany, the key to losing weight is to lose it slowly and before losing any weight you should get a journal and write down all of your feelings positive and negative. Hey you guys, I'm back, but i'm on this new plan. I lost a couple of pounds eating right, bu gained most back because i was sloofing. But it tought me how to eat (keeping the food journal for 4 weeks.) So i no longer calculate food, but i make a week in advance exercise plan. This week, I Bike 5 times(or days) for 20 minutes, lift weights for my arms 5 times, do yoga 5 times, and strrength train for my whole body 2 times. I do some yoga on rest days because i have night yoga that is relaxing. don't worry about me overtraining with the arms weights, cause i've been doing it for a while, i jhust need to kick it up a notch. hey!!! there is hope for EVERYONE!!!I LOST 7 POUNDS IN ONE WEEK!!!well here's my story i am 5'5 and weighed in at 205 and now so far in one week and a half i weigh 198!!!well what i did was i would eat a slimfast bar every morning and alot of water a small lunch and a big dinner and and it worked for me!!! i used to drink 2-3 cans a pop a day and now i dont drink any!!! everyday when i get home from school at like 3:30 i eat maybe some apple sauce and a piece of cheese that seems to work for me try it i know you can lose weight like i did here are the only rules that you have to follow!!!1. dont drink any pop 2. eat 3 meals a day3. only have like one snack the first couple weeks of the diet4. drink lots of water5. if you have a craving like brownies or cheese cake eat it but just a little portion that way you will be less likely to cheat!!! GOOD LUCK!!!

Hi Joe,
I used to have a weight problem and I took small steps and it made a big difference. I lost 50 pounds in 6 months! Sugary drinks were a lot of my problem (sodas and juice) - I switched to diet coke and just water (no apple juice or oj). I started walking more - just 20 minutes or so with my walkman and it wasn't even hard! Good luck -- don't worry, you aren't alone!!

Ht. 5'5", Today: 134 lb (BMI %tile: 77), Goal: 120 lb - Hey I haven't checked here for a while but I'm 134lbs =D I've lost 4 lbs I'm 5'5 and I wanna get down to about 120 so 14 pounds left.. I got sick last week and a day I lost 4 lbs so I was done to 130 and I was like WOA and it just felt so good (but of course it came back) anyways I got a book on Teenage Fitness and I've been doing this 20 minutes exercise routine (basically strength training) and it makes me feel a lot better(especially about my tummy I can feel the burn, and that makes me confident)... oh okay heres a lil tip I dont know if it will work for you but it worked for me. My dad offered me a donut and of course I took it it was looking at me like "eat me I'm so good" and so I went to the bathroom mirror and I ate the donut infront of the mirror.. well I obviously didn't eat the whole thing after the person staring back at me it was really gross so if you want that big yummy ... These are just some tips I have to help me loose weight..and I thought I might share..Have a journal and write down your goals and what you ate that day. Exercise daily. Aerobic will strenthen your cardiovascular system..also do some weight training. Stretching can help relieve stress/tension also. When you feel like eating something you shouldn't..wate five minutes..and take 5 bites of something healthy before you eat something bad. Drink lots of water..also..it's kina-of hard to drink water during cold weather so make yourself some decaff tea...and enjoy! Don't step on the scale every day..make weekly/monthly weigh ins. Most important..give yourself time! It's not easy to just hop onto healthy eating..and go from there...if you mess up..write it in your journal..and go take a walk, play with your pets,stretch, maybe go shopping if it makes you feel better. These are just some tips what I'm using so..I hope you find them useful! =)
