For your junk food prob, try putting the food into baggies, a small serving per bag. Each day tell yourself you can have 1 or 2 bags and if you eat more than your supposed to, skip one tomorrow. Then try and get some exercise, take a walk, do an exercise tape ex... For your meals, ask your mom ( if she makes them ) to give you a smaller serving. Eat only when you are hungry, and try not to stuff yourself. Good luck!

This was ( still is ) my plan, I am 5'3'' and 106.5 lbs. Eat only when you are hungry, and if thats hard, cut what you would normally eat in half, or ask your mom ( if she makes the meals ) to give you a smaller serving. Drink lots of water, and take a walk or do some sort of exercise every day. I do Tae Bo 3 times a week, and try and take a walk every day. Also, let your self have some sweets, but only one thing a day, or a small handful or jelly beans or small loose candy. If you are having a hard time with cravings, just eat a tiny bit of what you crave. Also, freeze fruit, its a good, healthy snack.

I have a few suggestions u probably heard them before though. Drink lots of water, eat healthier (veggies, fruits), Exercise (even if it's just for 10 min.) u can eventually add more time. cut your food intake in half. For example, if u eat 2 slices of pizza only eat one and leave the other slice for later. & Don't Give up! u can do it. if u want to talk some more my e-mail is LizLuvsJosh89@cs.com

-first, read story lawrence on the main teen page. It will help you understand the difference between hunger and a craving.
-second, when you want some sweets, that aren't fat free, ask yourself if you are really hungry. And if you are, go for something healthy. Like gram crackers or some fat free snack.
-third, if you need help making sure you get all your water everyday, fill up like a water jug, like a kool-aid jug or something, with 6 8oz. (1 cup) glasses of water. and make sure you drink at least that everyday.
-forth, exercise. Try doing it in the morning before you eat anything (so you dont get sick during the exercise) and try to do it in the morning because you wont come up with anything else during the day and run out of time. And if you can't do it in the morning, try to do it at night.
-fifth, start doing some extra curricular (spell check)... (view more)

Sorry to say but, you cannot lose 100 pounds in one month. You can however lose at least 10 pounds. Though it might not sound like a lot it will get you started on your rode to weight loss. What you need to do is start slowly. Try to eat half of what you usually eat or even better, cut out all junkfood. At first you might not want to excersize and focus just on eating habits. But you can gradually start excersizing. Excersizing doesnt have to be running 10 miles or all that Jazz, excersizing can be as simple as doing a few jumping jax or shooting some hoops. Remember this ~EXCERSIZE IS ANYTHING THAT GETS YOU OFF YOUR BUM~ People think that you have to run 10 miles to lose weight WRONG. My advice for you is to work your way in to it. Start really slowly NOTHING TOO DRASTIC. Dont check the scale everyday because it takes a week to lose about 2-3 pounds. When you feel like your not getting... (view more)

Hey, do you do any activities? like swim or any sports? if you ride your bike and rollerblade thatll help. ive learned that last year im still overweight but by doing more activities you can help it. and instead of drinkin soda although they are coming out with some good one you should drink water. and if you go out to eat a lot go to the salad bars first and then eat a lite meal then for desert rather than ice cream or somethin get fruit. see i eat when i am deprssed and that happpens a lot and my weight varies a lot. and my aunt and i were talking and she said instead of going to the munchies go for a walk or sleep a little and thats helped to. well i hope this helps you ~samantha~

hey i know how you feel I am also 18 and about to leave for college. I weighed for most of my life a lot more than my friends. And to be honest I hate myself because I cant see anything but me being fat. Well anyway I was 180ish and now i am down to about 137. All i did was a lot of excersice and a ton of fruits and veggies. I dont eat out very often and when I do its only once in awhile. I also quit eating red meat. I stick to chicken a lot. Make sure you drink lots of water too. OH and take vitamins so that you stay healthy. It will start to help you out. good luck

Exercising itself won't mke you lose a lot of weight. You need to have a healthy diet to go with it. Eat a lot of fruits and veggies and up to 1200-1500 calories a day. Plus 6+ 8oz (1 cup) glasses of water. It will help a bunch:)

Okay everyone. I've been reading though all these messages here, and i've realised that most people are here about the same thing. People want to loose weight, and are looking for a quick, easy way to do it. Lets face it though, its not gonna happen. The sooner you realise that, the better off i beleive you are. And all the people giving off advice, it all boils down to the same thing. Exercise more, and eat less. But i also know that it is a lot more complicated than that. First someone starts to go on a strict diet, they get hungry, eat some chocolate for about a week, than are ready to start dieting again, to which they get hungry and eat some more. I think that if anyone wanting to loose some weight should start off this way. First, DON'T starve yourself. That will NEVER work, because A) Not many people have the will power, and B) You do u'r body more harm than good. Second, exercise... (view more)

I am 5'5 and weighed 169.4 last sept, Now I weigh 131.3, and here is how i Did it...
*I stopped drinking pop and sugar jucies, I only drank orange juice and lots of water.
*I ONLY ate when I was hungry
*I avoided snacks and candy (ate them rarely)
*Ate meals slowly and cut the fatty foods in half in what I would normaly eat (ex. instead of 2 slices of pizza, I ate 1)
Im just saying that if you make a plan and stick with it, you can do it! The best thing to avoid is pop, Remember that a large cola in Mcdolnalds has more fat than a Mig Mac. Also that the average person can gain 15 pounds a year if they drank 1 can a pop everyday.
