now that the summer is here it is going to be hard to lose weight because you are going to be bord but what will help is take a piece of paper and write down stuff you want to do with or with out anyone and check stuff off as you do it. That way you will stay away from the food and be active which will help you gain muscle and lose fat
I know how it felt to gain more weight then wanted to, you know what Tiffani, Lucy has a list on the website here, she has a lot of suggtions, one of is vlounter at a anmial shelter, or do babysiting, course, read a book, go swiming, biking, hiking, walking, running, joging, drink a lot of water, ride a horse if you have one, I recmmand trying a treadmill if you know someone that has one, ask them how to use it, you will burn calories, useing it, you will burn a lot of calories, and you will want to have a water bottle, and a towl, I believe you can do it... Tiffani I believe you can do it... Jump rope, jumping jacks, stretchs, and walk the dog, your friend's dog or the neigbors's dog. Ask your partens permisson, dont be discourged dont give up reaching your goal..

hey everyone, i have a problem with controlling my eating im getting to the last fourty pounds of my weight loss and i can work out like no bodys buisness, i run at least twice a day but when it comes to eating i cant control myself, even when im not hungry i eat and ill even be saying what are you doing your not hungry but it doesnt seem to help
does any one have any tips to try?
Print out no pig out poster,go outside to do excriseing.. It is fun to be outside when it is nice out. Dance in your room. To your favorite music pamper yourself in a nice warm bathub, bubble bath, do your nails, play with your pets. I have done it many times, it gets rid of my stress..

don't give up, i've been stuggling for a long time. Find activities that you enjoy and find a way to work out at it. I love to dance even if the dances are ridiculus as long as i burn calories. start off slow...walk 1/2 hour a day or take stairs. I know it's very hard and giving up is not a way to solve the problems. Keep the FAITH

so i'm prettty sure I lost another pound, its hard to tell on my scale cause its not a digital (i want to buy one of those bad boys real soon!) but whatever, pretty damn sure i did! I quit smoking today so i'm kind of nervous i'll gain some weight back as a result because i heard that happens, but maybe if i replace my cravings for cigarettes with drinking tea or coffee or something instead of eating that will help. ahh im scared! best of luck guys!
congrats on the weight loss and the smoking thing awsome and don't worry find things to do when you get the cravings, like paint your nails, or read a book, or go outside for a walk, or watch weight loss videos(those always make me forget about the unhealthy stuff) just find things you like and wont affect your weightloss in a bad way good luck girl and your doing awsome =)

Well I've been dieting and exercising for a few days now... Im really anxious about looking at the scale next week but Im so afraid that I wont lose a pound... this sucks! I hate anxiety! It makes me want to eat even more.
Oh and congrats to you two below who lost weight... Being on this site does inspire me to lose weight because before I stopped coming on here I lost a significant amount of weight... now Im heavier than ever but very optimistic
Hey! Don't be anxious!!! You don't have to lose a pound! If you just stay the same and don't gain a pound, you are doing good, trust me! If you start feeling anxious about your weight, do something that will help you feel better like taking a bath or going for a walk or talking to a friend on the phone, sign up for a club, join a church. All these things are great distractions! So is helping other people so get out there and do some service! Don't stress so much about it ok? Everything will be fine if you don't give up!

hey everyone i did really good yesterday untill about 8 or 9 acolck came i sware idk what happen to me it's like i couldn't stop eating
i mean i ate 2 plates of coco pebils i felt really bad but the worst part is that i feel like eating everything right now i don't understand why i get this feeling
i'm trying to fight it i brushed my teeth and i just keep telling myself it will all be worth it at the end but it's so hard well i just had to let this out because if i don't i think i would eat my whole frige
keep yourself busy. like go out with friends or talk on the phone or talk to people online. or paint your nails. it really helps when ur minds not on food 24/7 like mine usually is haha.

hi guys. i'm so tired of overeating. it's been going on for several YEARS now. and i'm more than ever determined to stop this vicious cycle of overeating. could anyone post some tips that has actually worked very well for you to resist overeating and/or eating out of boredom, stress, sadness

I have found over the years that keeping a large water bottle with me and drinking it throughout the day helps. Also I have found that working out helps SO much. Working out daily will help you feel like snacking less and when you have the urge to eat when you shouldn't distract yourself. Go out for a walk or on a bike ride or read a good book. Good luck.

Hey I am 6'3 and i used to weight 300pounds. I am now down to 230 and alot is now muscle. It was so hard for me to get down that much but it is alot easyer now. I just ate half of everything and when I was hungry I would drink water or diet soda. For exercise I would hit a boxing bag and play the drums. I know playing the drums is not exercise but you get but it is if you play them hard and fast. So if any of you wanna talk email me at firstname.lastname@example.org I think I could help...

Why don't you just eat smaller and when you are hungrey fill up on water you'd rather fill up on water then on candy and chips of just go out with your friends and go walking or if thats not fun for you jump rope with them, go to the local pool, or just dance or play tennis. My friends can dance real well so I go to dances and dance instead of sitting and watching them. I'm overwieght but every time I dance I sweat and then go home and have a salad or a big bottle of water...Trust me it will all work out in the end I have lost at least 5 lbs in the past few weeks.....email me if you want at lilactre

Hey guys! I got a job at a restaurant and all I do is run around and stand behind the counter. Last year when I worked for 2 weeks at a bingo hall, I lost 5lbs! Anyway, my point is, if you have a job that makes you move around, it's easier to lose weight because you won't think about eating all the time! It's my second day....so I'll tell you guys when I lose some pounds.
