I've always seen those commercials for Mederma, which helps lessen the appearance of scars and stretch marks. I've been using the Walgreens version of Mederma...it's cheaper. I haven't noticed a significant difference but I just barely started using it. You could also schedule an appointment with a dermotologist and ask them what they would use to get rid of them.

Coming from someone who started at 237lbs and currently weighs 127lbs I can tell you first hand what that's like.
The truth is...it's not that bad! You'll feel soooo much better about yourself overall anyway. The stretch marks will fade dramatically. There might be a subtle hint of some...but the ones that do remain won't be terribly obvious. Even so, you learn to dress your body in flattering ways...there are very few things that you "can't" wear...but seriously, who cares? You feel great anyway.
As long as you're exercising and losing the weight slowly, saggy skin is extremely minimal. You may have a little in your trouble spots, but once again, you just learn to dress to impress!
Fortunately, youth is on your side! Your skin still has the elasticity to return to normal! Just keep on your journey & don't worry about that stuff...in the end you'll see it was all still worth it!!

You're definitely not alone! As for the stretch marks, they disappear. trust me. i was covered in them, and now theyre invisible. the only time you can see them is if you look closely, they look a little silvery thats about it. I have a little bit of extra skin, but not a noticeable amount. you cant tell unless you pinch it. Just make sure to stay hydrated and drink water and your skin with shrink with you. usually it's people who lose over 100 pounds that have the worst cases, and you're still young and your skin is still elastic enough to bounce back. Trust me on this, you'll look great. If you want to help fade the stretch marks and keep your skin healthy moisturize with cocoa butter or that scar fading cream. I hope I helped, and good luck :)

while thier is no way to completly rid yourself of SM's, you can go to your dermatoligyst and get precription cream. it works better then overthecounter cream. u can also use OTC creams, thier generally cheap and work decently.

You can't completely get rid of stretch marks unless you get like... microderm abrasion or somethin but that's expensive. you can buy stretch mark cream to ligthen them up and they'll fade with time.

bleach them? um- no...losing a bit of fat and letting your skin have a break from the stretching might help a bit. otherwise just keep them mousturized everyday and let them lighten naturally...it happens over time

Strech marks are red or white lines where your skin has to strech becuase you grew faster then your skin did. You can use things to make them fade but they will never totally go away. *Ray*Ray*

stretch marks are lines on your body that are either a shade darker or a shade lighter then your skin color depending on how long they've been there and how much they've healed. acctually it's weird but i have stretch marks on my breasts and they're indented but they're white.

don't dispair! just work hard at losing that stuff and like veronica said that cocoa butter sticks that you can get at a beauty shop makes the stretch marks less visible. i'm going to try it as soon as i get to a beauty shop. good luck!

Just to let everyone know that cocoa butter works wonderfully for stretch marks, I have a couple and I've used a pure cocoa butter stick and it has really helped. It also help in balancing out my complexion. The green tea so far is helping too (I drink it every morning with my breakfast with just a tsp. of honey, sugars are so high in carbs =(). I have lost weight a little faster than usual, so I guess its helping my metabolism.
