I've always seen those commercials for Mederma, which helps lessen the appearance of scars and stretch marks. I've been using the Walgreens version of Mederma...it's cheaper. I haven't noticed a significant difference but I just barely started using it. You could also schedule an appointment with a dermotologist and ask them what they would use to get rid of them.

You can't completely get rid of stretch marks unless you get like... microderm abrasion or somethin but that's expensive. you can buy stretch mark cream to ligthen them up and they'll fade with time.

bleach them? um- no...losing a bit of fat and letting your skin have a break from the stretching might help a bit. otherwise just keep them mousturized everyday and let them lighten naturally...it happens over time

stretch marks are lines on your body that are either a shade darker or a shade lighter then your skin color depending on how long they've been there and how much they've healed. acctually it's weird but i have stretch marks on my breasts and they're indented but they're white.

Just to let everyone know that cocoa butter works wonderfully for stretch marks, I have a couple and I've used a pure cocoa butter stick and it has really helped. It also help in balancing out my complexion. The green tea so far is helping too (I drink it every morning with my breakfast with just a tsp. of honey, sugars are so high in carbs =(). I have lost weight a little faster than usual, so I guess its helping my metabolism.

Go to your local drug store and buy "cocoa butter" make sure that it has nothing else but that in its content list *it will say 100%. Then, every night rub it on your marks- after like a month of doing this they will be less visible. I have stretch marks galore on my hips so those low waist pants that are "in" show my marks and i hated it- so thats why I use it. I like the roll-on sticks but the lotion works well too. My advise: use it at night because depending on what kind you get- it can feel oily. Take a shower in the mornig it you dont already do to prevent build up and stop the "oily feeling". (yes, it has a scent, but when you shower it will come off. BUT ITS WORTH IT! I LIVE BY IT!!!)
Some people really like the smell, I do. Its great during the summer because it can help you tan. And some people use it to make their skin baby soft. It's not necessarily made for stretch... (view more)

Stretch marks develop when you grow too fast, dont worry they will fade with time, pick a regular exercise and eat right and you will lose some weight, and to speed up the rate at which you lose stretch marks put vitamin e extract on it, its sticky and kinda expensive but it works, you can get it at any drugstore
