Oh I hate those phases! But don't give up! And don't wait for the phase to end - just start exercising and do better now. I find that when I'm struggling with eating good and exercising and I start to be good again I learn the most because I'm challenging my tolerance and resistance. Don't look back and beat yourself up over not doing the best. Just look forward and try your best to do the best you can do! Good luck!

Ht. 5'3", Start: 263 lb, Today: 217 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 200 lb - stop beating yourself up for the "bad" food choices you made its okayyy just learn from it and keep going ,,, when i make a bad eating choice after im done eating it i think of how my body feels and if it was really worth it eating it again , like mccdonalds for instance last time i ate it and went to the gym i felt HORRIBLE ! my heart was beating wayyyy to fast and my workout wasnt enjoyable =/ and eating something healthy gave me the exact opposite feeling i felt great and energized =D ,,, so my point is if you dont feel slumpy after eating it and if you didnt eat too much of it your fine stop worring so much :))

When I gained all the weight I had lost last year I was so upset, and here I am trying to relose it. Don't do it to yourself! The ice cream, the breads and chips are not worth it! I promise you, you'll regret it if u gain it back. Just get back on track. Make 2 healthy choices every day. Or at least 1. And just move in any way for 10 minutes every day and it'll make a huge difference. It's not the end of the world, just get yourself back on track again. Good luck

Congrats on losing some weight! I definitely know what it feels like to lose motivation. It sucks. But you can do it! And that's right, tomorrow is another day. If you screw up a day, there's always the next day. And the next and the next. :) Keep at it, it'll be worth it.

Hey, dont wrry too much about it. I go through that quite often, unfortunetly. Just work it off the next day, and try not to repeat past eating actions. I appologize for my odd linquisics, I am taking a creative writing class. But, anyhow, keep up the good work and reach our destiny..er...goal.

wow- i found an old weight journal from the beginning of 2003 when i was 173 pounds(i didn't really start losing any weight until the beginning of this school year). i can't remember being that weight. i'm not sure how much i weigh right know but it's a little under 150 pounds. i feel great- ven though it's taken me a long while to lose that amount of weight i didn't starve myself or do anything hurtful to my body and i'm not more fit then most of the thinnest girls in my tennis class. i haven't gotten to what i want to look like but now i can run for long periods of time and not die and i've never had that before. by the way- if you want to know how i did this was i did taebo or a different cardio exersize and i tried to do 30-60 minutes everyday, i also cut down to a reasonable amount of calories ranging from 1200-1500. some people will say that low calorie diet and exersize doesn't... Nicole, is right. That's one of the worst things you can do, to get really discouraged over 1 day. Some people have quit their diets just because of one bad day, but trust me it's not worth it!! It's ok you'll be fine, I'm sure. Just try to get back on track and exercise and eat healthy and you'll feel so good once you start seeing those pounds come off!! It's all worth it. You can have a million bad days, and you can still get back on track, no matter how much weight you gain, or mistakes you make, you can always just get back on track and lose weight. It's not like if you have one bad day you'll never lose weight ever! That's how I feel sometimes, but then I jsut remember that it's only one bad day, and like I said, no matter how many bad days you have you can always get back on track. Believe in yourself and try your best, don't worry you'll lose weight!

Ht. 5'5", Start: 170 lb, Today: 149 lb (BMI %tile: 84), Goal: 135 lb - ok- i'm 149 and 5'5" now- down from 170. everyone can do it if they put their mind to it. i'm not going to explain everything i did to lose the weight- ive just been following my own advice and doing it healthy by eating better foods and burning it off with cardio work outs. i want to be 135-139 by the weekend after my birthday which is the 9th but i want to weight that much by the 11th because i'm getting a haircut and i'm going clothes shopping and want to buy really nice clothes that'll make me look great. i know it's pushing myself a bit but i'm still going to do it healthy but just be more strict. ever since i started acctually losing weight i haven't had a perfect week of dieting and exerizing so i'm going to do it this week. well, good luck everyone- even though nobody needs luck- all they need is a little willpower...

I don't really understand how i can go through thanksgiving, mess everything up (diet wise), be on my period (sry for the personal info, boyz) and still only have gained 1 pound since before thanksgiving. lol. All I can say is i sorta blew it today when i split a medium not at all low-fat ice-cream sunday sorta thing. I'm doin 50 curl-ups a night and will soon increase it to 100 over a lil bit of time, and plan to start doin push-ups! I'm going to try the Ultimate Weightloss Guide for Teens by Jay McGraw (dr. Phil's son) Anyone else out there doing that? Well this feels really good to vent. I don't feel as guilty about what I ate as I did before I started typing, I really hope I can be 158 by next, sunday. ::crosses her fingers and prays:: Wish You the Best of Luck, much luv, ChElliE

I am Marie..Here's a little information about me...I am about 5'4" and around 163lbs eek I know, But I don't really look fat I kinda hide it well lol but everytime I look in the mirror I get depressed about my weight! I used to weigh 180 but I lost the weight while dieting and doing the treadmill for an hour a day..It was easy but for some Reason I just started skipping days than soon I quit altogether 'though I wish I wouldn't have! I was on a role...lol but I am going to start dieting and exercising again! I know that anyone who wants to lose weight can really do it because if you want to bad enough' you will do anything in your power to! Just think food only tastes and feels good for that moment when your chewing it but being skinny will make you feel good, confident, and social! I want to get down to around 140 and i'll be happy :) and then I think I'll be more... (view more)
