you can do it- and that's the way to keep at it. whenever you fall of the diet wagon just get back on it right away- the same day-= the same time you realize that you've just fallen. drink a lot of water and find an exersize that you acctually enjoy and do it at least every other day. don't let 48 hours go by with out haveing a good work out. good luck! keep your inspiration! i know it's hard but you can do it! my email's red8705@hotmail.com. good luck!

make sure you keep your motivation at the front of your mind at your weakest moments- remind yourself that if you eat that junk all the time you'll never get there and you'll just be disappointed right after you're done with it- believe me because i just blew it and i'm already feeling disappointed- and also right after you blow it get right back on track that very smae day! don't wait another day and don't totally binge just becasue you ate one thing that wasn't good for you...

just remeber that eating somethin that's not part of the planned diet does NOT mean you need to quit the diet. Thats the problem people have with sticking to their goals they think once they stray even slightly from the path they can't keep going, but you can! If you eat a little too much today, just try a little harder the next day to exercise more or something, or just keep going with your plan. If you fall down just get back up agian I know I have my bad days, or even weeks, or even months, but I keep going and I've lost 45 pounds and only have 5 more to go!

i was bad last night too! i ate 4 peices opf pizza and that's after my stomach had shrunk a bit- i was sinking down to my old habits and overeating to the point i thought i was going to puke! but i'm trying not to beat myself up over it. one bad day in a good week won't make me gain back all the weight- but i'm really going to be good for the rest of the week!!!we can do this if we stay focused!

Hi, I just started a new diet on Thursday and I was doing soooooooo good until today. It was my grandfathers 70th birthday today and I ate cheese cake and regular cake. I thought the cheese cake would be less fattening than the regular cake but I was soooooooo wrong. And then my family all went out for barbeque and I thought that I was doing good to just get a baked potatoe but I put so much sour cream and cheese on it that it ended up being more calories than the BBQ. I feel really bad and I am really mad at myself for getting carried away when I was doing soooooooo good. I really hate myself right now. I know it sounds like I just want attention but to be honest I guess that is what I want. I want to hear people tell me not to give up because that way I keep going. I am sorry if you feel I am being shallow. I just want some encouragement. That is what this site is for, right? Thank you.

dont call it a diet, because then your bound to fail, think of it as changing your lifestyle, and it IS hard for the first two weeks, but your body goes into that mode and it gets easier, try saying stuff like, "im gonna eat healty for ONE week" and stick to it, and if you make it have a reward food, but dont overdue it, if you dont succeed dont be hard on yourself and just reset the goal, dont give up, it just makes it harder. hope i helped

Make little goals for yourself, for example, if I lose 5 pounds, I'm going to buy myself a new cd. If I lose 10, I'm buying myself a new pair of jeans. Thinking about the cd I want or the type of jeans I want to buy keeps me from slipping up because they're something that I would really like to have. Hope that helps.

Start: 215 lb, Today: 145 lb - diets do work. every single one of you who are sayin "they just dont work!" aren't ready to diet then. you do not have enough will power to stop eating junk food and keep exercising. you may say this is not true but i was overweight my whole life and every summer tried to diet and i never stuck to it and tried to blame it on the diet. the summer b4 high school i went on a diet. i went from 215 lbs. to 134 lbs. im still tryin to get lower though bcuz i have gained a good 10 lbs. so my point is maybe a lot of u are just to young and immature to stay commited. its a really hard thing to do. its definately worth it if u stick 2 it. good luck to everyone and just keep trying. you'll get what you want. maybe not the 1st, 2nd or even 5th time. but sooner or later you'll be where you want.

ps. i pretty much lost the weight by exercising and eating smaller portions of everything. also...dont think you diet is over just because you mess up once, just start again from there.
