not losing weight because everybody tells you not to when you want to is like losing weight because everybody's telling you to when you're comfy with your body. what they want you to do is unhealthy- go with yourself on this one. show them that you can be even better than they thought the way you want to be!

i know how you feel. i have had one bf who was a complete dork. i make up for boy friends in friends. i dont really feel ugly, its just im the girl guys go to for advice, more of a best friend. dont worry. boys at our age can be kind of immature(no offense guys) but they'll grow out of it and see you not as an overweight girl, but a beautiful person.

Hey! I can understand your problem, because I have been placed in the same situation. Tell her that you are getting worried about your weight and would like to go on some sort of diet or start using a fun exercise video but you don't want to do it by yourself because your afraid you won't stick to it. Then ask her to go on one with you, if she still resists then just try to get her to walk around the block or something simple like that.

Whether he is fat or muscular shouldn't matter. If you like him talk to him.

When i was training for the Air Force Scholarship I had a friend that would walk with me. so what she would do is put a stick or something down say "go" and then keep walking. She would name out a tree ahead of her, and then i would have to run to the tree and then back to the stick to pick it up and run back to her so we could start it all over again. If it sounds confusing. it was. I felt like a little puupy fetching a stick. and since it was so stupid looking my friend didn't mind it cause she loves laughing at me (in a good way don't worry) So maybe try that. make a game out of it. also take Anne's advice. She's pretty good.

Okay first and formost, guys will be guys. And yes they are visual, but you know what guys also get bored.. You may see a really skinny girl with a guy and hes flirtin or whatever but u know what the next hot girl he see's that other girl is history.. so what is this terlling you.. those are not the kind of guys u want to be longing for or wanting to date. A guy should except you regardless of your weight, looks, ect.. cuz im sure u would do the same for him.. My advice wait for that kind of guy u deserve...someone who is much better than the jerks who are only in it for looks, and believe me there are guys like that out there.. look at all the guys in this chatroom, they are really sweet, and look at anne's bf wouldnt u rather have to wait awhile for someone like that, than be upset over a guy that wont even care about u.. this letter might have sounded harsh to some of the guys out there.. but it's true we see it every day

The guys will come round in their own time. Plusit doesn't what they think, it matters what you think. Do you think your over-weight and are you confident about yourself? Being confident is what draws the guys to you in the first place, I know it doesn't hurt to be a britney spears look-a-like. But guys coming over for your body are only after one thing, or they find there is not much going on underneath the skin. Meaning= You need to work on the inner self, then you'll be happy about your outta self and it will show. If you do want to lose weight, or lacking body confidence then you should really talk to your parents first. krystle

Hey, I just wanted to let you know that no one is perfect.. no matter if they think they are there not.. (trust me Brittany Spears may look perfect, but she's not...and I bet she would even admit that) If the whole guy thing is bugging you it's cuz many guys out there are only in it for your looks, but there are so many guys out there that are not like that... Im 16 and I just got asked out for the first time and am going on my FIRST DATE ever in three weeks, and you know what all the waiting was worth it cuz this guy is amazing... I encourage you to not worry so much and wait for the right guy to come along. Don't listen to what those other guys are saying they say stuff like that cuz it makes them feel cool, when really all they are doing is getting a large group of females to hate them... haha I just wish they would figure that out.. =P.. but anyways It's worth the wait to go out with... i'm not perfect and guys like me...my sister's obese and she's always had guys. you just need to look for a guy with a great personality and wait untill they're mature enough to accept you for who you are...

There is no way to tell someone how to get a BF, but to have a better attitude, and more friends, i guess you can just be happy, be your self, and smile.

my boyfriend's getting a little bigger too and i know in the future it will hurt his health- what we do though- is find fun physical activities to do. we walk to the store or play this game called dance dance revalution- today we're going jogging. find ways to slowly introduce him into exersize- say that it's for you and make him do it too- but make sure it's someything you both can stick to and try to make it as consistant as possable at least everyother day...
