If u think being anorexic wont hurt one bit u are wrong. It CAN cause health problems and u could also die.I just wanna warn you what you are getting yourself into.Ur only 12 and thinking to be anorexic.By the time ur 13,14, or 15 to understand what anorexia can do to u,u would probably wish u never have did that. There is no way i can stop u but u should think about this ALOT before thinking to be anorexic.

Hey, u cant really lose weight fast because it is usually a dangerous method. it is better for you to lose it slowly. i am losing it slowly cuz it stays off then, and its good for the long term affects. Im, trying to lose around 2-3 pounds a month. and even though it takes along time, it is worth it in the end. just excercise, and eat healthily. excercise around 3 times a week. dancing is the funnest excercise to do i find. good luck, u can do it!

Hey Katie, this is the time when you should be extra careful about what you eat. You should exercise by walking daily. Make sure you drink LOTS of water, your baby needs this. Make sure you take prenatal vitamins, and be sure to see your doctor regularly. It gets harder to lose fat if you keep adding it on with pregnancy fat. good luck to you.

Hi. I'm 17 about 5'8" and last I checked 312 pounds. I feel like a walrus. I've always been chunky, but it didn't really bother me until one or two years ago when I started to really pack on the pounds. I'm gaining weight faster than I can afford new clothes, so my big, fat belly just hangs down over the front of my pants and almost out of my shirt! I play football, where it is good to be big, but I'm so fat that I really am having trouble keeping up. I know my problem is I eat too much... I can eat three big macs three large fries and two large cokes in a regular sitting... I'm really not as worried as to what I look like, but to what this is doing to me. I know this big flabby belly is not healthy. I also want to run faster for football. I would be happy to get down to even 250.

no, you're not overweight...however, i was even bigger than you at 12 ( i weighed 145 ) and my friend convinced me to join a swimteam. DO THE SAME!! swimming does incredible things for your body!! it's good because it doesn't put any pressure on your joints, and it makes your heart stonger, builds muscles which will lead to more fat burning...it may seem hard at first but DON'T GIVE UP NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO!!!! i wanted to, but i didn't, and i've apparently really changed (i look like i'm 115, but i weigh 130 because of muscle)...good luck!!!

Hey, I heard that diet pills don't really work anyways, and if there is such a big risk, why bother? You may as well just excersise and eat right. Besides, excersise and healthy eating are good for you for more than just weightloss, so you should just do that. =)

Hi. I think that if you are considering taking pills you should consult your doctor. A few years ago a girl at my school who was a year older than me took some weight loss pills because someone told her she was fat. A few days later she had a headache and took some asprin. The asprin interacted with the pills and caused her to go into liver failer. She was rushed to the hospital but there was nothing she could do but have a liver transplant that she needed to have that day. She didn't get the transplant and ended up dying. I was only in the 7th grade at the time, but that is something that has always stuck with me and why I will never take diet pills. So, please consider this story before you decide to take diet pills, it happened to her and it could happen to anyone, even you.

GOOD LUCK.

Ok, i have heard people on this board, talking about it doesnt matter if your overweight, as long as your happy. I somewhat agree with this, and somewhat disagree. I think that if you are happy, then fine, you are happy, but did you know that if you are even the slightest big overweight, you increase your chances dramatically to contract type 2 diabetes, which is mostly assosciated with being overweight, and eating/drinking too many sodas, and sugar. Plus you get higher chances of getting cardiovascualr disease, and contacting other incurable diseases, just because you are 15-20 lbs overweight. 5 lbs makes the diference. I am happy that some of you are happy with the way you are, and you probably were told by your parents that its the person inside that counts, and that no matter what you look like, or how much you weigh you are still beautiful, well, beauty is in the eye of the... Even though this question was for Krissy, I'd like to answer it. :p Ok, running is only bad on your knees if you run excessively or you run on a sidewalk. Running on grass or a rubber track is a lot better on your knees.

It is perfectly okay to exercise before puberty as everyone needs some form of exercise. However exercising too much isn't healthy as it can prevent you from growing properly and have damage on your health later in life. But doing everything in moderation is fine.

what your dad said is not true. it is better to start exercising when you are young. it doesn't affect your puberty. execrise actually decreases the cramp you get when you are having period.

Loosing weight in itself won't help to improve your complexion. However, since you will be changing your eating habits in order to loose weight, I wood assume that you're eating healthier meals. Healtheir meals and snacks can improve your complexion. But above all, keeping your skin clean, taking care of your body and loving yourself are the best tools for a "beautiful" appearance.

Hey, its great that you are excercising and stuff, but 1,000 calories is too low. Try bumping it up a bit.
