Ht. 5'3", Start: 218 lb, Today: 198 lb, Goal: 150 lb - About two months ago I decided to go on the Atkins diet, and I did really well the first two weeks, and lost 8 pounds, but then when I started adding more carbs back to my diet like the rules say, I stopped losing weight completely. I went on vacation about a month ago, and I haven't been able to get back on track with the diet again, and I know that now I would have to start it all over again. :( The diet was ok, but I honestly don't think it's the best method. I think it's smart to stay away from refined sugars and white flour as much as you can, and load up on veggies, but I am just not sure that the strict atkins works for me. Does anyone think I should just try to cut out the white flour and sugar out of my diet, and just try to eat more whole wheat and grains and such? While eating lots of veggies and meat and cheese and fruit and nuts? Does that sound good? Or does anyone else have any suggestions? And regarding my last post, I did find a running program. ;) Thanks!

Ht. 5'2", Start: 149 lb, Today: 148 lb, Goal: 120 lb - It's been about 2 days now. I haven't had anything "sweet" and "sugary", unless 2 fig bars count (even though they're like, 60 calories each). I haven't been on the treadmill since yesterday because my legs have been tired from lots of DDR. However I've been trying to do sit-ups while watching TV. I know I have to work a little harder if I want to reach my goal, and I know I can reach it if I really believe in myself.

Ht. 5'9", Start: 187 lb, Today: 187 lb, Goal: 160 lb - ok, so this may sound like a dumb question, but when you run, and your abs start aching, thats good right? Like your strenghtening (sp) them. I was just curious, because sometimes when I run, they ache, and I wake up in the morning sore, and then when I run another time, I fine running, and I don't wake up sore at all

Ht. 5'8", Start: 290 lb, Today: 303 lb, Goal: 170 lb - So the moment of truth, after a big salad for dinner, I got on the scale, and I couldnt believe it!! I LOST 7 POUNDS TODAY. I EXERCISED ALL DAY LONG AND IAM WORN OUT. I feel great. Thanks for the help guys.

Ht. 5'3", Start: 160 lb, Today: 143 lb, Goal: 120 lb - Ok so :) Since summer started I gained a couple pounds with all my snacking, and once I realized I was going up, I got freaked out and decided to start eating healthy right away. I started yesterday, and I've been doing really good. I'm gunna go to Curves three times a week with my mom, I'm taking up yoga, and keeping active this summer. Im focusing on eating fat free stuff and salads and fruits and veggies. I'm keeping a food journal and trying to count my calories XD You guys think if I keep this up I'll be able to loose 20 pounds or so by the end of summer? Hope you guys are staying strong.

Ht. 5'4", Start: 150 lb, Today: 143 lb, Goal: 120 lb - I was sick for two days and couldn't eat anything... and I lost 7 pounds my stomach is my problem area I carry alot of weight there and I have been trying to find ways to get rid of it. I woke up a few days ago and I liked the size of my stomach. How come I lost so much weight in so little time and it just not water weight because my stomach got smaller? And how come it is lasting usually you gain it back?

A while ago I saw a link to another website about a running program... and I'd really like to use that one... but I couldn't find it when I did a search, in fact, I couldn't find any beginer running or jogging programs at all... can anyone help me?
