Ht. 5'3", Start: 218 lb, Today: 198 lb, Goal: 150 lb - About two months ago I decided to go on the Atkins diet, and I did really well the first two weeks, and lost 8 pounds, but then when I started adding more carbs back to my diet like the rules say, I stopped losing weight completely. I went on vacation about a month ago, and I haven't been able to get back on track with the diet again, and I know that now I would have to start it all over again. :( The diet was ok, but I honestly don't think it's the best method. I think it's smart to stay away from refined sugars and white flour as much as you can, and load up on veggies, but I am just not sure that the strict atkins works for me. Does anyone think I should just try to cut out the white flour and sugar out of my diet, and just try to eat more whole wheat and grains and such? While eating lots of veggies and meat and cheese and fruit and nuts? Does that sound good? Or does anyone else have any suggestions

Ht. 5'2", Start: 160 lb, Today: 129 lb, Goal: 105 lb - ok I have been doing good on excercise and diet fo the past two weeks except today I went to the beach and was really tired so I only did 30 min. on the bike and went over my 1400 calorie limit! I feel HORRIBLE!!! ok so today I ate breakfast-3 egg whites Lunch-salami sandwhich , no mayo or anything, 14 baked lays chips, 1 oatmeal raison cookie, apple dinner- salad a pork chop, half a baked potato w/ fat free mozzerella no sour cream or butter. Yesterday I made these peanut butter oatmeal cookies and i had like 9 of them!! I count all my calories, but I didn't know how many were in the cookies so I wrote down they were like 725 for all nine. It was probably more. I am going on a cruise in 2 weeks and want to lose 5 lbs!! I am depressed about my eating for the pas two days but I will p;ost tomorrow about what I eat and excercise. Anyone have any tips or motivation or tell me how I am doing it would be great thanx!

Ht. 5'5", Start: 210 lb, Today: 150 lb, Goal: 115 lb - Hey guys! I haven't been here in sooo long, but I really miss my BlubberBuster buddies! Anyways, I recently had surgery and I'm stuck sitting around the house for two weeks. I was wondering if you guys had any tips that might help me avoid the boredom munchies and maintain (or even loose) weight? Thanks! =)

Ht. 5'4", Start: 140 lb, Today: 142 lb, Goal: 105 lb - Todays eating didntgo that great what do you think? breakfast- banana, slice of brown bread, small glass of juice lunch- small bunch of grapes, some cherry tomatoes, slice of brown bread, satsuma, cheese and onion potato layer and some veg snack-87 calories of low fat crisps dinner- small portion of brown rice, mince beef and a 265 calorie ice cream(omg!). I would guess that at over 1500 calories which is definitely not what i wanted i was going for about 1100-1200 but i did go to the gym and burned about 500 calories I think. I followed your advice about the juice fast it wouldnt be worth doing it and gaining it all back again. xx

Ht. 5'9", Start: 187 lb, Today: 187 lb, Goal: 160 lb - Would 1 hour of tennis drills (always moving), 1.5 mile walk/run, 3 mile bike ride and some crunches at night be overworking the body? I'm not saying do this everyday, maybe cut out the bike every once in awhile, but would it be too much? I pretty much used to do this every day last year, but I was sore for a long time.

Okay, so yesterday I was going to start my diet, and I kindof did. The only this is - my Dad wanted to order out for dinner and I had no other choice really. I have that problem a lot - my friends or parents or grandparents, someone always want to eat out/get fast food/or order out. And I always blame that for the reason that I don't do well on a diet, but you know what? That's life. It's not like I can completely eliminate junk food from my life unless I stop talking to everyone, hah. I decided I'll just have to limit how much I eat. And I tried to do that last night, and I wanted to get an opinion on how I did. We got garbage plates [not sure if you guys know what that is because it's indigenous to this area I think] and I only ate the hamburger with hot sauce but no other condiments or... (view more)
