Ht. 5'2", Start: 170 lb, Today: 170 lb (BMI: 31), Goal: 130 lb - maybe it's just my imagination but it seems like some of my clothes are starting to fit a little better :). i just got back from the gym. i did 2 programs on the bike (hill program -- 20 min, 200 calories burned, interval program, 20 min, 100 calories burned). I skipped the weights today because I did my weight training yesterday. I'm taking a few days off from running/walking because I have shin splints and I don't want to make it any worse, which is very annoying. I had never really done the bike before though, and I actually had a lot of fun! Can't wait to finally see my results on the scale in a few weeks!

Ht. 5'2", Start: 170 lb, Today: 170 lb (BMI: 31), Goal: 130 lb - Does anyone else have any other ideas of what I can do at the gym? We have a very small gym, only a few tred mills, a few elipticals and bikes, and weight machines, plus a track. I also do jazzercise every other week (that's when it is offered) and that burns about 480 calories per session..I don't know any workout routines for the bike or eliptical, like what settings to use to get good results and stuff. If anyone could help that would be great!

Ht. 5'2", Start: 170 lb, Today: 170 lb (BMI: 31), Goal: 130 lb - Hey everyone! I'm so excited to start out losing weight. I've never actually been this motivated to lose weight. Usually I will go to the gym for 2-3 days, and then quit, but this time things are very different. First of all, this is the first time in 2 years that I've had a schedule that allows time for me to get to the gym and still have some time for myself. The last couple of years I have been trying to fit work and school and homework and getting enough sleep, but it just never seemed like there were enough hours in the day! Not to mention all of the unhealthy college food that there is to choose from every night! I'm really dedicated this time though. I walked 3 miles on the track at my gym tonight, and for the past 2 weeks I have been alternating between this routine and walking 1 mile + 45 minutes of weight machines (usually 2 sets of 12-20 reps on each machine). I'm not ... (view more)

Ht. 5'8", Start: 205 lb, Today: 205 lb (BMI %tile: 95), Goal: 150 lb - Today I just realized that i weigh 205 pounds, the heaviest i have in my entire life. I knew that i gained weight but not to this extent. I weighed 180 last time i checked which was a year ago. I have always been on the chunky side even with my height but now ive gone too far. I had a really tough year and have just endulged myself with food because of stress. I am now determined to eat healthy and start excercising more to get it off. I hope i am determined enough to do this

Ht. 5'2", Start: 164 lb, Today: 164 lb (BMI: 30), Goal: 120 lb - I'm tired of gaining and losing weight. I used to be a healthy 125 pounds and I would like to go back to that. I usually get motivated for a week or two with working out and eating healthy and then I just give up and stop. Its really hard for me to lose weight. I really need some help in figuring out the best cardio and the best eating habits to see the best results. Please feel free to put in some input. I really want to be healthy and lose weight and feel happy in my own skin.

I also bought a digital scale today (mine is old from a yard sale and isn't accurate, so i usually go by what my moms scale says.. which isnt often because i live on my own with my boyfriend) so hopefully by tomorrow ill have an accurate weight (hopefully lower than 165, otherwise ill be angry lol) anyways hope you are all doing well. Come on guys lets get this board going lol good luck!! :)

Ht. 5'8", Start: 225 lb, Today: 165 lb (BMI: 25), Goal: 150 lb - So i haven't lost, but i am happy to say i haven't gained. for the past 2 weeks I've been eating like a pregnant woman (no, I'm not pregnant lol) and haven't gained a single pound.. but starting yesterday i have quit smoking pot (i know drugs are bad yadda yadda but it was more to relax me at night, stress from work and all) and every time i quit for a while, i lose weight fast. so i know that will help. Also, I will be working out at LEAST 3 days a week doing 35-45 minutes of cardio/dance videos. I know I can do this. I want to be 150 by christmas.. at the most 155 by then. I'm excited to start over and I will be quitting smoking cigarettes September 1st as well. I'm doing an overall health overhaul haha. Anyways, I hope you are all doing well. Keep your eyes on the prize guys :) Good Luck!

I decided that today was the day and again I failed. I cant seem to start once I am loosing weight I am fine but starting is the hard bit. I went for a walk todayh 4 miles to be exact and it nearly killed me but then I came home and ruined it all by eating a huge dinner. How can I get myself back on the right track. I need help please,
