Ht. 5'5", Start: 291 lb, Today: 291 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 180 lb - TO AMANDA - I think the reason Im not losing weight is that I have a lot of toxins in my body. What are you doing to detoxify your body? Do you think Juicing is good using vegetables and fruits... I really have to juice my veggies in order to stomach them... I can just hold my nose and swallow ... lol I gained like 10 lbs and ive been in the gym almost everyday (except saturdays and sundays). I think that means there is a major problem with my body chemistry. But actually I see a difference in my clothing... Im looking much more fit and in the gym im moving much faster but I need this fat to go away and stay away. This is about me I carry alot of weight in my limbs (thighs and arms and in my butt too) But my torso is kinda very small Im like an hour glass/pear and I dont really look obese thing is i am says the BMI chart. So Maybe the detox will help me with my thighs and arms. and how long is it anyway? And what fruits and veggies do you recommend?

Ht. 5'3", Start: 10 st 7, Today: 10 st 7 (BMI %tile: 86), Goal: 7 st 10 - So, i used to use this site, it helped me to drop to my goal weight at the time! It was amazing, i didn't hate what i saw in the mirror i had so much confidence, i walked around showing off my stomach and legs and didn't think twice, i actually enjoyed walking past a window and looking at my reflection! Problem is, i have put a lot of the weight back on, and i'm quickly putting more on so i want to do something about it before it gets pretty bad! Where i live there are so many pretty thin girls that i have to keep up with, not for them but for me because it makes me feel supeer good to see them looking at me as competition! So here i go again, starting back from the beginning! Any pieces of advice you have would be amazing! Thanks :) (Note: 10 st 7 is 147 lb.)

Ht. 5'4", Start: 172 lb, Today: 172 lb (BMI %tile: 94), Goal: 140 lb - I have been ON for the last couple of days. I've tried toeat between 1500-1800 calories a day for the past 3 days, and so far, I've done it. Counting calories isn't as annoying as it was, and I'm able to ignore the cravings.

Ht. 5'4", Start: 172 lb, Today: 172 lb (BMI %tile: 94), Goal: 140 lb - I am REALLY freaking out. I'm leaving for college in mid September, and I want to at least be on the way to my goal. I'm just getting so discouraged right now. I just really want to lose the weight, but it's SO hard to not eat what I want when I want. I just want to give up, but I don't want to gain a whole bunch more weight and THEN decide to go on a diet.

Ht. 172 cm, Start: 94 kg, Today: 70.5 kg (BMI %tile: 72), Goal: 64 kg - i know i am so close to my goal but i just cant find any motivation to exercise! i can eat fine, thats not a problem for me its just the exercise. all of my friends are really fit so i am way too embarrased to work out with them. What do you guys do to keep yourselves motivated for excerise? x (Note: 172 cm, 70.5 kg is 5'8", 155 lb.)

It's hard because I spend most of my time taking care of him and then I forget to take care of myself. Ht. 5'5", Start: 220 lb, Today: 210 lb (BMI: 35), Goal: 135 lb - So Im down 5 more lbs that makes a total of 10 lbs Ive only got a week and a half left of my detox diet then I start my regular diet! My goal seems to be getting closer and closer I feel like Im almost there but Ive got like 75 lbs to go thats alot! I'm leaving for California in less that 6-8 months and I want to have met my goal by then I hope thats reasonable!!!

I go to the gym and perform my exercises with ease yet im still in the same place... i think i eat too much but its a freakin habbit... i need to learn to make foods from easy everyday things... ive been in the gym 2 months... i wanna quit because i see no results... this is gonna be the last month i try it b4 i go to school but i need motivation. Ht. 5'2", Start: 180 lb, Today: 180 lb (BMI %tile: 97), Goal: 130 lb - just found this site today but i am sure glad i did. i have been struggling with my weight my whole life and in this past year i have been going up and down. i started at 200 pounds and went to a nutritionist it was amazing i went down t 157 pounds and i felt incredible. but then i stopped going bc it was costly and i thought i coud do it on my own. i slowly began to put on pounds. and now im back to 180. my main problem is that most of my friends are tiny and when we go out we always eat unhealthily. it drives me crazy bc of course the do not gain weight, i do. but i have been inspired today to reach by goal. wish me me luck!

So Now Ive lost 5 lbs and Im working on losing more! my goal is 135 because I dont want to be a tooth pick but I want to feel better about myself! Im happy with what I've done so far but I have a long way to go...80lbs to be exact!

I still feel horrible:( Have you ever noticed how you just don't feel good when you eat fattening foods? Not just emotionally, but physically.

Ht. 5'11", Start: 226 lb, Today: 196 lb (BMI: 27), Goal: 180 lb - Hi all! I used to come around here and thought I would return. I am currently up rowing in a national team development program and have been working on my weight. I live with a light weight so there's a little pressure coming from him, even though he doesn't know it/intend it. Anywho, I have made a goal to be at 185 at the least by August 19. I think this is very possible. I weigh in Wednesdays and I'm hoping to lose something. I find that reward systems work. Little ones. Like I loooove coffee and if I lose a pound or more each week, that Wed I get to go to starbucks and order something reasonable. This way I satiate my sweet tooth to prevent binges later and am rewarding myself (in a nonexpensive way) for doing something good for my body. I also do this with school (straight A's, new erg PRs,etc) but with things obviously better than food. I will weigh in tomorrow and have been peaking at the scale and I think I lost atleast two, though its not official until Wed morning. 185 here I come!

It's called "The Diet For Teenagers Only", but I think I need some moral support too. I've been overweight my whole life and the rest of my family has always been extremely fit and healthy, so I guess I've always been trying to lose weight, but I don't have a lot of will-power. If anyone has any advice or recipes, I'm completely open to it!! Today I've been doing pretty good so far and I'm going on a bike ride in a few. :)

I was dressed to freakin kill... lol My friends and I went out to dinner (my friend invited this guy and he messed up my big day >:() Afterward we ditched him and went to the club ... my friends car got broken into so I at midnight when I turned 19 I was in the police station's lobby ... got a number from an officer who turned out to be old as hell!!! lol he bought me lunch monday and by thursday he "dumped" me lol... I guess he tried to let me down easy thinking I was gonnna cry... but I was thinkin of a way to get rid of him myself...lol ... I started my summer job its fun... I only went to thr gym twice last week but this week I will have to amp it up... I need an EFFECTIVE DIET plan... i am sooooooooooooo close to fitting into this pair of pants that I bought last year... everything is gettin...
