Ht. 5'7", Start: 175 lb, Today: 170.5 lb (BMI %tile: 88), Goal: 145 lb - I graduated from high school Sunday and I made a decision then to lose weight. I am 18 and going to college in the fall and really want to lose at least 10 lbs by then. If anyone has tips I would greatly appreciate them. Today so far I rode my bike for ten mins. Ht. 5'10", Start: 215 lb, Today: 215 lb (BMI %tile: 95), Goal: 180 lb - hey I'm new to this...looks like a great way for me to start my weight loss journey!!! I weighed 180 about two months ago but after my bakerball season ended I quickly shot up to my current which is the most I've ever weighed!! I'm going to play college basketball next gear and I need to get back down to my old weight to be successful. Anyways if you have any tips on healthy eating that would be awesome cuz I already excercise some, but if you have good workout t tips that would be awesome too!! I bought a dress last week for my birthday which is next week... Im so excited... My friends and I are supposed to be doing something... so hopefully I look HOTT! My pouch area is looking much better but I have to get rid of this stupid cellulite!!! What do I do about that? Im gonna weight in soon I guess to see what I did... I did a cleanse this weak so yea

Ht. 5'3", Start: 187 lb, Today: 154 lb (BMI %tile: 89), Goal: 135 lb - I started my diet in December, and have since lost 33 lbs, I am stil unhappy with my body and suffer from very serious self-esteem issues. I completely cut out fast food from my life and try to eat within 1000 calories a day, doing lots of fruits and veggies and excersize at the gym for at least an hour a day. Plus various other activities; frisbee, football, jogging, jumprope, skateboarding, rollerblading, etc.

I am engaged to be married December 5, 2009, and I really need to lose weight before then. To be clear, I understand it's going to take a lot of hard work and healthy eating to accomplish my goal, but I'm determined not to look back on my wedding photos with regret that I didn't do something about my weight when I could.
Here's what I'm ultimately on this site for: to get encouragement from others who have been successful in their weight loss process, to obtain tips about the best exercises, health foods, etc. and to provide others in turn with ideas/tips/encouragement with my future weight loss. I don't have a clear-cut plan on how exactly I plan to lose this excess weight, so if anyone has any tips, etc. for me to help me get started, I would very much appreciate it =D.

Ive been overweight all my life, but have never had a problem w/it. my family is big so i never thought it was a big deal. but recently the things i have been eating seem to make me gain more weight then usual. i have a portion control problem and i eat constantly when im bored. ive tried diets before and working out but have been unsuccessful being around my family who eats like there is no tmrw and thinks diets are ridicolous. my aunt said i was too skinny when i was 16 and weighed 170! so after my failed diets i would gain everything back plus some. ugh. but oh well. until recently, like i said, ive been putting on more weight in a short amount of time. i have been putting on 5-10 lbs a year, but... Ht. 5'2", Start: 241 lb, Today: 230 lb (BMI: 42), Goal: 150 lb - This is the exercise I did this week (5/18 through 5/23) I plan on doing something tomorrow, I'll post a comment and let everyone know what I did. Mon.- 1 1/2hrs on stationary bike, 1 mile powerwalk (DVD) & 50 jumping jacks Tues.-1hr on stationary bike Wed.- 1hr on stationary bike, 20 squat kicks, 10 pushups off of the chair Thurs.-1hr on stationary bike, 3 mile powerwalk (DVD) Fri.-1hr on stationary bike & a "burn belly fat" workout Sat.-1hr on stationary bike. I had my period this week (TMI, lol) and I've read on a few different websites that you don't lose much weight while you're on your period. So we shall see, weigh in on Monday! I'll admit, if I didn't lose much weight I will be really discouraged because not only have I been exercising everyday since Monday (just started exercising on Monday) but I've been limiting my calories, taking in about 1500 to 1800 calories a day. Mainly sticking around 1500. Wish me luck!

Ht. 5'4", Start: 291 lb, Today: 283 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 180 lb - So i joined the gym may 8th and on monday my trainer told me im gonna have a weigh in... i have a scale FINALLY! lol but i dont wanna look at it to jinx myself but she told me i look like im shaping up and i personally think im doing great myself especially on the treadmills and the cross trainers... im so nervous... and im also bloated now so by next week my weight should be "normal" lol. I cant wait... Im at a local college but im moving to another so i wanna look good because most of the ppl there have perfect bikini bodies lol... well the females lol... I just wanna look fit... so i cant wait... im gonna have a salad for lunch my mum brought home excellent items for me to make salads and Im so greatful to my brother because if it wasnt for him i would still be a couch potato and I love going to the gym i cant believe it... now my parents are finally supporting me because my daddy is gonna pay my fee for next month and ive been begging him to let me join for years... so yay me!

Ht. 6'1", Start: 240 lb, Today: 240 lb (BMI %tile: 95), Goal: 180 lb - Hey guys, i used to come to the site alot but since going to college i just havnt..and i decided summer...perfect time to start losing weight again. I just got my job for the summer and am working 60 hours a week...its crazy...but hopefully actually i know that will take my mind off of food. So far today i have had toast for breakfast with no jam...and then lunch i had a grilled cheese...and i just had another one...those are my favorite food...and its only like 150 cals per sandswitch :D ill prolly either have a salad with a little bit of rasberry vinergret( if you havnt tried it i suggest trying it...it is very low in calories and fat and honestly tastes amazing!!) or another grilled cheese...i know you guys reading this are gonna say im gonna get sick of grilled cheese...however take my word on it...i wont...lol on top of that i have to do abs daily and run a mile...my mile time now... Ht. 5'4", Start: 291 lb, Today: 283 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 180 lb - ok i somehow went all the way up to 298 but im glad to say i went down to 281... a few weeks after that my brother decided to start paying for a gym membership for me... im at 283 (says their scale) as of friday lol... im pretty excited to see results im sure this is just the motivation i need to lose weight... and its pretty fun... i walk the treadmill for about 3 mins and i go on the crosstrainer for about 25 then i go on the strength training machines... my 19th bday is next month so hopefully by then i have my license and am 10lbs lighter... wish me luck!!! but i hear i may gain weight as i gain muscle :s

Ht. 5'4", Start: 210 lb, Today: 174 lb (BMI: 30), Goal: 140 lb - Hey, I haven't been here in ages....does anyone remember me? lol probably not. Well, I'm still 174 lbs! actually I was 175...but what's the difference. ANyway, so I've been starting to work out again. I really have to get back on track and am hoping to lose 20 lbs as soon as possible (I know it takes time but I want to take it off forever). I got down to 159 once and then shot back up again but I cannot let myself go back to 210 ever! so I'm working extra hard now to get down to atleast 160 soon and then see where it goes from there. Also, I'm reaelly inspired by the show The Biggest Loser (I LOVE this show! and I love the trainer, Bob!) it is so so inspiring to see how hard they work on that show and how much weight they lose. Anyway this got pretty long...hope everyone is doing well! remember it will take time and results don't happen overnight...keep working hard, don't lose focus and don't let anyone mess you up! take care~ :)

Ht. 5'5", Start: 235 lb, Today: 203 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 130 lb - Ok. so havnt been on here in forever. In december i started the Medifast diet. It worked so well. By the time i went on vacation a few weeks later i had lost 15 pounds. Well then i got off of it on vacation and just got back on it today. I gained all the weight back wich sucked but im dedicated to get on track and lose the weight. I also hurt my ankle wich has kept me from doing alot of walking or running. Well its kinda better now so im gonna start walkng and everything else. Im having a hard time toning my arms though. I hate them any tips for that and thighs too. lol.
