Ht. 5'2", Start: 170 lb, Today: 167.5 lb (BMI: 31), Goal: 130 lb - So I went home for the weekend and didn't do ANY exercise :(..there was just so much other stuff I wanted to do and had to get done that I couldn't find the time. But today it's back to the gym for me. It's so frustrating its been almost a month now and I feel like I've made no progress!! Yet I've been working out every single day and trying to eat better at school. A few years ago I was at my all-time highest weight (187) and have lost almost 20 lbs since but at the time I wasn't even really TRYING to lose weight, it just happened over time. Now that I am actually trying, I'm not getting anywhere...this is usually the point where I get discouraged and quit, so I'm really trying to work through this and stay motivated...any advice? good luck everyone!!

Don't get too frustrated with yourself! I know it's hard, but if you stay motivated and stay focused on getting down to a healthy weight and keep working hard, eventually your body will start shifting the pounds. Are you recording everything you eat in a food diary? You might be eating more than you realise maybe? Whatever you do, don't give up and go pig out because you're depressed about not losing weight, break the vicious circle! Even if you're not losing weight at the moment, the fact that you're making an effort to change your lifestyle and break the unhealthy habits is the important part. Stay on track, it's just too important not to!
