hey this isnt a success story but i need to comment on sumthin i'm not tryin to be rude but most of u that r tellin these storys arent tellin how u did loose they weight i mean ur just sayin i watched what i ate and excercised i mean it helps but not much like what type of foods did u eat and what excercises/ how many did u do, ya know cuz almost everyone on here wants to loose weight and well we need advice thanx for ur tyme

Hey everyone! I am 15 and 5'3" i weight about 182 lbs now. On the 11th of June i started my dieting program. I have lost about 8 lbs since. I used to weight 190 lbs OMG!lol. Anyways i eat 3 meals a day and snacks in between. Healthy foods that is. And i walk off about 500 to 600 calories a day. I walk on my tredmill about 3 or 4 times a day. HELLO EVERYONE !!! IM SO HAPPY MY DREAMS ARE FINALY COMING TRUE !!! IM FINALY LOSING WEIGHT AND LOSING IT FOR GOOD ! since i have started losing weight 2 weeks ago i have lost ten pounds i went from 165 to 155 and im sooo happy !!! all i am doing is drinking tonnnssss of wated ( if u dont like palin water try the flavored kinds ) and i have been reting less alot less then i used to bu t im not starving my self when i get hungry i sing or dance ar ride my bike i also chew gum and that helps alot im only 15 lbs away from my goal of 140 i can do it and so can u ! always remember ur mind is a poweful thing so never give up !!! ps im 5'7. any one who would like to e-mail me can do so at if i did it YOU CAN TO NEVER GIVE UP IN UR SELF

I didn't get all the way to my goal yet, but i am only 9 lbs from it. I started dieting in April of this year. I went to a doctor on May 2. Buy june 2 i had lost 9 lbs! TOday , it is june 19. I weighed myself and I am 123. That's 14 lbs. When I started out I was 137. My goal is about 114 to 116. You can do it too. Eat no junk food, drink water no mlik, and eat TONS of veggies and fruits and exercise at least 30 min. a day. Good Luck to everyone and believe in yourselves then you can do it!

Well, at age 16, i was 5'5 and weighed almost 180 pounds. The next summer, i started lifting weights. I ate better, meaning I stopped drinking soda and eating potato chips, candy, and cookies. I began drinking water and eating healthier. In my senior year in high school I actually ran for the track team! Now, i weigh about 145 pounds and have a nice 6-pack!! Just believe in yourself, and use the summer wisely.

i have always been really short for my age...about half a foot shorter than all of my classmates. and up until second grade i was thin for my age also. i'll never forget the night when my mom was in my room and told me, in front of my brother, that i had been gaining weight...i remember saying "no i haven't"...and i know she didn't mean anything by it, but i'll never forget it...the next year, in third grade i was 4'7" and weight 100lbs. which is about fifteen pounds overweight. i wouldn't wear jeans, i would only wear stretch pants that weren't as uncomfortable as wearing tight fifth grade i underwent a lot of teasing for various reasons, and i didn't get any physical activity...over the summer, all i did was sit at home watching television. when sixth grade hit, i weight around 110, and i was still around 4'8"...which is twenty pounds overweight for that height...during... First of all,,Its important that you loose weight the right way. That is by eating nutrious and excercising. I have 2 children, and I was always an athlete, I am 5'9 and I now weigh 165. I weighed 185 after my sons birth, and I was never this heavy. I stressed out and I decided to loose the extra pounds. Nothing seemed to work, I found something that worked for me though,,and I hope it will work for you,, try playing a sport. I always played sports in hight school and i was not only fit, but muscular. I joined my community volleyball team, and not only did i loose 20 pounds in 3 months , but I became the best player in our team. How cool is that. I walk a lot too, as for eating,, I eat small portions of anything, i feel like eating, I drink a lot of water, and I dont eat anything after 6 p.m. just dring water after 6. Hey everyone!! This is how I got started on my diet. I have a friend who I was always so jealous of b/c she always was thin and had that perfect little figure and I was always a little chubby in my stomach and my hips. Well just this past November she thought we wanted to loose some weight she was 5'4 and weighed in at 145 lbs. Today she now weights 120 lbs. and she looks awesome. I didn't realize that she really did need to loose a little weight. She is so much happier now. So this inspired me to get fit and loose a little weight also. I'm 5'3 and I weigh 132 lbs. ( I want to weigh 115) I started my diet 2 days ago and so far so good. I've lost 1 lb. already and I'm feeling a lot better about myslef. For breakfast I eat fruit only! and Lunch I a eat salad adn dinner I eat whatever my mom makes but I eat a lot smaller and I rollerblade 40 minutes a day and do stomach crunches and lift some weights. I haven't lost all of the weight that i want to yet, but i'm well on my way, It really stinks being overweight for many different reasons but one big thing is not having a boyfriend, but someday i will. Right now i wear about an 16 to 18 in jeans and i plan to get to a 10 or 12. The way i am losing it is walking or bike riding everyday, usually bike riding because it's not so boring, But also by cutting down and watching what i eat, when i get down and am about ready to give up i think of getting into that size ten or twelve pair of jeans, I also want to lose the weight to show people that it is possible and to be a role model for people my age to lose weight and show them that's it's not easy especially the first few weeks but it does get alot easier when you see your results. Well i just want to tell everyone to hang in there including myself and if anyone needs to talk, about ANYTHING, even if it's not about dieting or excercising, i'm hear to listen and help you out!! You have no idea how long i've been waiting to loose some weight...i've been up and down for the past 4 years!!! Finally this year, after gaining about 20 lbs. from the year past, i started running every day! its tough at first, but after a week or so, it feels like nothing! anyways, i just did that and started drinking LOTS of water and really paying attention to what i ate! once i stopped pigging out on things that made me gain weight, i didn't feel like i needed them anymore! not to mention, now when i go to pig out on things i used to love, they make me feel sick b/c i've gotten used to eating healthier!

I have been on a diet for about 2 weeks. I have been eating very healthy and excercising 3 times a day. I have lost 10 pounds! I am so proud of myself for being able to do it. It is the most incredible feeling! Good luck to all of you!
