I am overweight-I am 14 and I weigh 240 puonds! I feel so shy around people at school or in a new place because I am overweight. Just recently I started a diet. I feel GREAT! Even though you may look the same you feel different, like the earth was released from your shoulders! I lost 10 punds in 5 weeks! I am so happy, I feel like I can do almost anything and everything. To me, I have more confidence to talk to people I want to meet. Now I have more friends than ever.

GUYS WEIGHT WATCHERS IS AMAZING!!!!!!!! In just 3 weeks I lost 13 pounds! I'm happy! I'm now 32 pounds away from my goal of 155! Good luck to you all... Hey everyone now i know you need some more spirit to start yr new "road to a better life and body" and thats great well done on making this step to even try to lose wieght!! That was the hardest step,(i used to wieght 160lbs) Ive lost 12pounds over about 4 weeks and a half by watching what i eat and EXERCIZIN!!!! yup u cant do one without the other. Its summer and its hard to stay away from yummy summer foods but u can do it!!!!!!! For me the food i cant live without is TUNA!!!YUMM!!!!(and if u say eww to that well, i bet theres something u like that i dont!!) Anyway ive been working out quite a bit giving myself one day off from exercise each week. I do 30min on a stationary bike and do this weight training program that i found in Good HOusekeeping get this u do this diet for 6 weeks and u drop a dress size or 10-15pounds!!! I was able to reach my goal of losing 15 pounds by eating less and excersizing everyday. I also made sure that i ate for 15 so that i wouldn't be hungry for more food. Also in order to not eat junk food, i thought to myself that when i lost weight, i would be able to eat that certain food.

Hey everyone...Humm...well about less than a week ago I disided to STOP BEING FAT! Honestly I was sick of it. So I made an effort to lose weight. I have a really fast matabilizem the only thing is I was honetsly eating so much that that it really didn't make a differnce. So I starting waking up at 6:00 every morning poping in a work out tape and exercizing for 30 minutes. Then eat a pice of frute for b-fast, light lunch, small dinner. AND DRINKING TONS OF WATER!!! Last week I weighed in at 187-189 and now I have already lost quite a bit of weight I weigh 179 right now, and I feel proud of my self!!! The thing is once you start dieting you won't want to stop, because you no longer want to let your slef down. I'm cummited to loseing more weight, and I own't stop untill I have reached a goal... i am a filipino. i wasn't always overweight until i arrived here in the US where i indulged myself in all the foods i didn't get much chance to eat when i was in the philippines.
i reached 160 pounds in the last week of may. i started feeling bad at myself especially when i look at my pictures a year ago when my weight was okay.
so, what i did was just eat food that would go with my 1,200 calorie diet. just water, if i drank soda i would go for the diet coke since it has 0 calories! i found a tape of tae-bo and started exercising. and now i'm only 145 pounds.
and i started dieting only 3 weeks ago. once i reach my goal of 130 pounds i'll maintain my weight.

I don't eat deep-fried foods anymore. After you go without them for a while, eating them again makes you feel sick. I get more exercise, I go rollerblading and work out with weights three times a week. I eat lots of fruit and vegetables and drink a lot of water.

Hey guys! I haven't reached my goal weight yet (140lbs) but I did lose 2.5lbs last week by eating more veggies and fruits and exercising alot! Now I'm down to about 182lbs. I exercise by using my ABslide for 3 minutes a day, I do Tae Bo and tons of crunches! My bro told me if you do crunches with a pillow behind your lower back, it stretches out your abs at the start for some resistance, therefore increasing the calories you're burning! I hope to lose a 2lbs more this week! Thank you for your help guys and keep trying to reach for your best ~ Maggie

When i was around 11 years old i started gaining more weight. Before i knew it i was 13 years old was about 5'4 1/2 and weighed 140. I had always been trying to lose weight but never fully accomplished my goals. Then one night i realized what im doing to my body and that it's not healthy to be overweight. I barely got picked on because most kids in my class weigh over 150. When i started to go on a diet it was tough, but i kept myself motivated. I road a stationary bike in my basement for an hour or two a day. I stopped drinking pop with lots of calories and watched my intake of food. Two months later i weight 115 and have never felt better. My weight has stabalized and i dont need to work out as much. I still like to work out at times and lift weights. I believe that anyone can lose weight if they keep it up no matter what.
