In january my news years resolution was to lose at least a stone so i had cereal 4 breakfast with semi skinned milk , sandwich and fruit 4 lunch and wot eva my mom made me 4 diner but a smaller portion i stuck 2 this 4 about 3 weeks and i lost about 7 pounds and my mum said it did show and i was doin well even my nan noticed!! but i got fed up and gave up i put all that weight on again! and this morning i thought 2 myself if i had stuck 2 that diet i might be wearin little skimpy clothes rite this moment with a slinnn stomach! i was so annoyed i have started this again and i have lost 2 pounds so let me tell u sumin DO NOT GIVE UP coz wen u put the weight on again the guilt is terrible. I UPDATE U WITH MY DIET

I started dieting last August and I've lost over 100lbs. I used to be 5"11 270 now I'm 6"1 165. People say I'm a bean poll now but I used to be very fat. It wasen't as hard as I thought but for a while I got a little anorexic, I almost stopped eating and that is the worst thing you can do. So I started taking protein, working out, and eating alot better and alot less.

On New Year's I vowed to loose 70lbs by the summer. I was 220 lbs, and I excersized for at least 40 mins everyday, followed a strict diet, and lost 10 lbs in a month. I was so excited! I kept going and lost another 5lbs until disaster struck . . . I became heavily depressed for various reasons. I began eating out of depression and I gained ALL my weight back, if not more. Recently I decided it wasn't worth it. I went back to my plan and I lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks, and I'm on my way again. I'm happier now, too. You just have to remember that nothing's worth making yourself feel even worse. Don't get careless and have fun while you're doing it, otherwise you won't see results.

Hey! Im 13 years old and 5'4. I weighed 124 but i started only eating when i was hungry and in 1 1/2 weeks i lost 7 lbs and am now only 117! i drank a lot of water and when i was bored i went outside and jumped on the trampolene or went out with my friends just 2 chill.

This is an update again. I started at 162 lbs. That was a month and a half ago. After serious diet and excercise, I am now 132 lbs. It is really easy to lose weight once you decide to do it, but you cannot cheat or eat ANY fast food. My goal is 120 lbs, which is about right for a 5'6 person. I will update again when the goal is reached.

Last summer, the summer before I entered high school, I told my self I couldn't enter highschool fat, I couldn't. That summer I lost 20 pounds! This school year I have lost 10 pounds! (I started out 150 some pounds and only 5 ft tall, now I am 5ft2in and 123) Sure exercise, but the biggest thing is don't snack. Eat your three meals a day, skip desert and don't snack unless you are actually hungry. Every time you are going to eat something ask your self why? If it's hunger go ahead but if not skip it and start doing one of your hobbies to get your mind off food.

hi, i started dieting 3 days ago and have lost 2 pounds well it is hard but evryone can do it if you put your mind to it!! Just keep thinking about your future and wheather you want to be fat and lazy and depressed or healthy and beautiful. i am telling you when you are a healhy weight you do not have to be so self concious that your top is too tight or your belly is hanging out. I hope this story has inspired you so just excersize and keep healthy!!

I lost weight by not eating after 7:o'clock.I did it for two weeks and lost two stones you should try it!!! the only thing you can have after 7 is water nothing else!!!!

I foccused hard on my diet I didnt drink any soda or candy, pasta, etc and ate alot of protiens , not many grams of carbohyderates and only drank water and of course exersizeD.I used to weigh 127 at 4 11 last year and now im 5 at the weight of 105 I lost weight and you can do it too!

I had always been overweight for as long as I can remember, and I had always figured that some day I would lose the weight, but I procrastinated constantly, saying "I'll go on a diet tomorrow..." and other things to that effect. I was a compulsive overeater, and very ashamed of the way I looked. By my sophomore year of high school, I weighed almost 270 pounds, and I probably wore about a size 24 (I am 5'9" tall). Just after New Year's, about a month before my 16th birthday, something hit me and I decided I didn't want to be fat anymore. I started slowly, doing a mile on my Nordic Track and trying to cut out most sweets. I would still have a piece of cake or something once or twice a week, but was eventually able to cut sweets out almost altogether. I started dieting a month ago because its almost summer and I'm going to be in Florida in April. I am 5'6 and started at 162 lbs, but I've lost 20 and am now at 142 lbs today. I still hope to drop another 20, especially since college is next year. The secret to success was not the greatest for me though. I've ran like 3 miles every other day, 60 situps, 50 push-ups (the girly kind), and 50 leg lifts a day. I also eat one meal a day, or at least try to and cut way back on the carbs. This probably isn't the greatest way to lose weight, even though it is effective, and I woudn't really recommend it and less you are in a time crunch to lose weight.

I’ve lost 9 lbs in four weeks. I used to weight 171 lbs now I weight 162 lbs and I’m so proud of myself! My goal is 127 lbs. My advise to those who wanna lose weight is to eat much fruit and veggies and drink lots of water. Also exercies as much as you can!
