Ht. 5' 4", Wt. 172 - Hi guys today I found out alot.I found out that it takes about 3500 extra calories to make a pound but it also takes burning that 3500 calories to lose a pound. Also if you walk (or run) a mile than you will burn 100 calories so if you walk 35 miles a week (5 miles a day) than you will lose 1 pound as long as you only eat the average of 1200 calories!!! Tommorrow I am starting a new dieting plan do to this information!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any tips that you have still will be greatly excepted I was just so excited to share this information!!!!!!!!!!!YAY -Allie

Ht. 5'7'', Wt. 185.5 - Hi everyone I have a huge problem I broke my ankle and now I can't exercise for the minuimum of 4 months. I broke it in 6 spots from jumpiing on my trampoline into are pool well my ankle sort of missed the pool edge and crash it went. I was in rushed to the Emergency Room after that. They say that I can't walk on it for the minimum of 4 months depending on my recovery. And now we have to replace the pool too. My pool water wasn't clear after it if you know what I mean. Well if anyone knows how I can still keep up with my diet and not exercise please help me. Thanks

Ht. 5'7'', Wt. 185.5 - Hey can someone tell me some good foods to eat due I'm on crutches/wheelchair for 4 months and I can't exercise as much does anyone have good foods I can eat. And I can't have ANY milk products. PLEASE HELP ME!! I don't want my diet to collapse because my ankle is broke from me exercising. (Technically) Is jumping on a trampoline into a pool good exercise?

Ht. 5'0'', Wt. 150 - I ate about 1200 calories today, pushed my 30 lb cousin in the stroller for two miles, biked mostly uphill for 3 miles, and played tennis for an hour and a half, but I feel really icky because about 300 of my 1200 calories were junk food that I didn't NEED to eat. I am having a hard time saying no! At this rate, will I be able to lose 7-10 lbs in 10 weeks? Its so hard to stay focused long term!

anyways, school starts in september (8th or so?) and I want to lose 20-25 pounds. is is possible? I have 11 weeks. The healthy weight loss is 1-2/2-3 pounds a week. so yes it's possible?
How many calories would I have to eat a day. I exercise ALOT (not trying to brag or anything) But I have no trouble with exercising, I just have trouble with the eating part. I'm on the girls tennis team next year, so I need to get in shape for that/practice, since it's all cardio.
I'm new at this guys..nice comments please?

By the grace of God I went the whole evening wihtout eating and Ihope to keep up the good work. I am hoping to loose some weight by August 8 when school starts back!!! Ht. 5'3, Wt. C:130?? G:120 - Ok I just wnet on a 35 minute fast paced walk but I'm not sure how far it was. I also did a 30 minute cardio/strenght thing while watching fit TV this morning. Then I did the normal pushups, dips, squats, lunges, crunches, ect. for about 30-45 minutes a little at a time. I also have added weight training with the squats and to tone up my arms. For eating I had BREAKFAST: a smoothie made with 1 cup low fat yogurt, a banana, and ice. SNACK:handful of grapes LUNCH: cheese Casidilla~ Made with 1 slice kraft cheese, a few tablespoons salsa, and 1/3 slice of lean lunch meat ham. SNACK:1 large apple and a few grapes SNACK: a banana and a handful of grapes DINNER:1/2 alvocado, 2 tamato slices, 1/2 of a hamburger patty, and a baked potato with bbq sauce. I feel I did really good and I plan on posting my day on here ever night from now on. I think it will help me see what I ate and also get advice...so how did I do today??

Ht. 5'6, Wt. 281 - So...I've started eating super-healthy and working out with weights for about half an hour a day and then doing cardio for about 20 minutes a day. I'm thinking of upping the cardio to twice a day, for a total of 40 minutes. How fast can I reasonably expect to lose some weight if I stick to it?

Ht. 5'4", Wt. 160 G-120 - omg guys i am SOOOOOOOOOOO happy! my spanish teacher just called me, and she was like you got a 100 on ur spanish final yesterday! and i was like NO i didnt! and she was like ur the only one who got a 100 that doesnt already speak spanish at home. this is my second year taking spanish and i am so excited! and on top of that i am doing great so far today diet wise. i just danced around my entire house jamming to some music bc i was so full of energy after she called me. and now i am like out of breath from dancing around and going up and down the stairs. lol...good luck to everyone. =] =D =P

Ht. 5'2, Wt. 165 - Today has been good....I had a late breakfast of cereal(150 cals) Then i had a grilled chicken salad with dressing and breadstick(350) Popsicle (50)---thats it soo far. As for working out i walked for about 5 -10 mins. and I have a softball game tonight.---and for the people who were wondering i live in omaha and I love the College world series!

Ht. 5ft5, Wt. 160lbs - I thought i'd post some advice here ,that has really been helping me to loose weight.In the post 4months i've gone from a really and i mean really tight size 14 to a really loose size 10 and we are talking trousers up with a belt loose.I have some really good diet tips for anyone who wants them and they really work.
