Ht. 5'6", Wt. 182 - hey this is a really hard thing for me to say but im almost 16 and im at the heaviest i've ever been. im 182 lbs. and i desperately want to lose weight if anyone has any tips that can help me please respond.

First off, try drinking oj, milk, or water instead of soda. Soda packs on an extra 25 pounds a year. Diet soda is even worse, packing on almost double because of the aspartame that slows digestion and your metabolism. Second of all, try to limit your calories. Write them down on a piece of paper as you eat so you realize how much you are eating. It is easy to forget that you treated yourself to some chocolate as dessert for lunch when you really want something sweet after dinner. Also, try not eating until after 6 o'clock. This gives your body time to digest the food before you go to sleep, increasing weight loss. Also get at least 8 hours of sleep and try to stay stress free. If your body doesn't get enough sleep or is stressed out it will produce a certain hormone that makes almost anything turn into fat once you eat it. Good luck, and I know its hard to stay focused, but once you are on track and start seeing results it is easy to continue! =)
