Start: Ht. 6'0", 198 lb ( BMI %tile: 89)    Today: Ht. 6'0", 176 lb (BMI %tile: 70) - I didn't weigh myself often so when I stepped on the scale for the first time in months i saw 198 and panicked. I didn't want to hit 200. I'm a solidly built guy and people are surprised to find out how much i weighed. I started going to the gym every day and doing cardio and weights. Also, I decided I was going to grow a 10 lbs beard. Thats right, not shave until I had lost 10 pounds. The longer it took, the more discusting my gross facial hair got and i was more motivated to go to the gym just so i could shave! It worked, I worked hard for two months now and brought my weight down dramatically. I also stopped munching when i used to smoke pot. That helped with the unhealthy food intake! Just set goals and get there, My goal is to put on 6 lbs of muscle and maintain a 180lbs, 6' build.

Whenever i felt that life is pushing me down, i would get on my feet and start running on the treadmill, within a year i've lost 10 kilograms or so. My friends and relatives were shocked, especially when i'm usually the fat one around them, and most of the people were usually making fun of my fats. Nonetheless, i started with a notice from my doctor,as apparently, im overweight. Since my mom introduced me to the treadmmill, i've never been more grateful to her :). Anyways, if you are feeling angry or discouraged, take it on the treadmill, ur helping yourself. Good luck to those who are starting out xDD  (Note: 166 cm, 57 kg is 5'5", 125 lb.)

I was always the 'fat girl' in school, yes I'd get boyfriends. I even dated the most popular boy in school if you can believe it!!! I was in 6th grade at the time. I stopped drinking sodas and I started drinking nothing but water I ate only 3 small meals a day and made sure I walked..You can do it you just need to be patient and have motivation to do it. Anyone can lose weight.

Start: Ht. 5'8", 155 lb ( BMI %tile: 87)    Today: Ht. 5'9", 120 lb (BMI %tile: 22) - I've always been the chubby kid at my school. At the age of thirteen, I wore a size twelve, when my best friends were all in the 3-5 range. I felt fat, ugly, and worthless. And it motivated me to lose weight, just not in a healthy way. It started out by starting to skip lunch. Then I began to limit my breakfasts, and then dinners until I was eating around 500 calories a day. I hid snacks my parents gave me so I wouldn't have to eat them, and suffered from mild insomnia from food-related anxieties. Sometimes, I would binge, and then feel so horrible afterwards that I'd stick a finger down my throat and throw up. It was awful, and although the weight came off at a rate of 10 pounds per week, I felt fatter than before. Finally, I joined my school's cross country team. I realized how lethargic I was from not eating enough, and started working on correcting what was developing into a case of anorexia nervosa. Now, I'm at a happy, healthy 125 lbs. and wear a size 2. I finally feel both beautiful and healthy, for the first time in my life.

I started drastically gaining weight, but one day I just told myself, "Stop. Do you know what you're doing to yourself? Do you know how bad this can get?" and it me start to realize I started to have to be healthier. I was at a store one day and I picked up a book about kid's weight and health. It didn't look like much, but it started to help me realize what food were actually terrible and the ones that were better. You should do some research on almost every food you eat before you eat it to see if it's worth the calories and the fat. If you're going to a restruant, check their website for nutrition facts. And Not Happy At All I Got Down To 175ibs. But Gained Back 15ibs. Because I Stoped Exercising And Eating Healty. Now I Would Like To Start Off Again And This Time Stick With It. Start: Ht. 5'5", 244 lb ( BMI %tile: 98)    Today: Ht. 5'5", 178 lb (BMI %tile: 93) - I was always big boned but every year I was gaining more and more weight drastically. People were always telling me I had a pretty face but I knew I didn't have a pretty body. I was so self conscious and in denial about my own wight at the same time. I knew that I was big but I didn't know I was as big as I really was. I would eat whatever I wanted whenever i wanted. Food was comfort to me and I saw that my friends were eating what I was and they weren't gaining a lb. I finally decided in febuarary that it was time to change my life around. I have lost 66 lbs since I started my weightloss journey and I am still going. I exercise 5 to 6 times a week and do tons of cardio along with weight training. I used to barely be able to run a 10 min mile and now I am running a 7 min mile. I eat lots of vegetables and fruits and cut out a lot of processed foods. Exceeds and eating healthy and you will be along your way. There isnt a better feeling then putting on old shirts and shorts and having them slide off you bc they are so big :)

Start: Ht. 5'9", 175 lb ( BMI: 26)    Today: Ht. 5'9", 130 lb (BMI: 19) - I had always been a size 12. Always. I never gained a lot of weight, I just always was a bigger girl from middle school on. I had always heard about people losing huge amounts of weight and I thought, why not me? I eat a diet very high in fiber and protein and low in saturated and Trans fat. I always exercise regularly and I eat much smaller portions and cut out snacking. I'm a size 0 now, which honestly I used to never think would be possible for someone like me. I've kept it off for over a year now because I view my whole diet as a lifestyle change. Its not something I did just to lose the weight, because I finally realized that if I start to eat like I used to, I will gain weight again.

I struggled with my weight for most of my life, but I decided to give it my all to become thin and healthy. Three basic rules: exercise, don't eat after 6PM, and stay motivated!!!!
