Ht. 5'2.25, Wt. before- 175 now- 141 - well i have officaly lost 35 pounds this summer.. no one from school has seen me except my close friends im so excitied to go back tomorrow and show everyone i look fantstic.. and i know that with another 10 or 15 pounds i shall have the body of my dreams.. im almost there and i can't believe i finally did it .. and i did it the heathly way.. i am so proud of myself.. i would liek to thank evryone for their encourgament and help and also i would like to encourage those who feel like they have no hope.. there is always hope... a few sayings help me going through this- "food will always be there you don't need to eat all of it in one day" "is this worth not being thin and healthy over?" I've always wanted to be at a healthy weight but i've never been able too its taken me about 5 years to finally decide that i need to loose the weight and i've lost 5pds in 3 days by eating better,doing vigorous walking/ jogging for at least 30 minutes a day and doing Winsor pilates!! im at 162pds and i hope to be around 150 by the end of septemeber!!!!!

I was at my friends house the other day and I was wearing these old shorts that were small so my fat was hanging out(( they were a size 12 and im really a size 18)) and then i was sitting on her chair and i accidently broke it. Then the button on my jeans popped. i was so embarassed. So my friends thin she's 5'4 and 100 pounds. She weighed me on her scale and it read 190 at my top. i was sooo shocked. I was never good at runnning. So she asked me what do you want to improve on first so i said running. so now me and my friend run everyday for a half hour. but we had to stop every 5 minutes for me.but thats okay. then we improved on my eating habits. no more hershey's or anything. then we bike ride 3 times a week. then we do 100 situps and 50 pushups. im so glad my friend is helping me train. so far i lost 10 pounds in 3 weeks. Im feeling healthier already.

Well, since February I went from 184lbs to 169.8 lbs! Thi is the first time I was able to loose a lot of weight and keep it off in my life! If i loose that last 0.8lbs I'll have lost 15lbs! I was a size 16 in jeans/pants i can manage a size 14/12! I hope to become a size 6 or 8 ultimatly...but I'm very proud of myself. I don't calories or carbs or anything like that, I just healhtier food when i go out, drink mroe water, limit soda and sugary sweets. I have a few squares of dark chocolate on the weekend instead of junky cookies and cake...for me al ittle indulgence is the real stuff or nothing! I now practically hate fast food, salty food, sugary food, greasy or porcessed food. YUCK! Eat organic things you can feel good about. I hope tobe about 160 by Christmas. I'll keep you posted! :0)

When i first found this website I was in Japan last year and you know how everyone there is like size minus minus 0.... well because i wasnt a minus minus zero i got called fat and i really wasnt, but i wasnt skinny either. My boyfriend even broke up with me...and said if i was skinneir he would like me better... I absolutly did not consider a faf diet.. I have lost major amounts of weight in the past and i know How my body can lose weight so i cnaged a few things. I dont usually drink juice or anything so i made sure i just drank water or green tea. I tryed not to snack to much and did an hour of excersise a day, 30 minutes of tae bo and 20 of windser pilates. I ate anything i wanted just tryed to stay healthy and if i wanted icecream i could just not like 10.. haha. For me a few changes in my lifestyle really worked! I lost 30lbs in a month. All I did was eat healthy, balanced meals and daily exercise. I highly don't recommend fad diets (i.e. atkins, south beach, etc.) I basically made sure I received the proper amount of various vitamins, proteins, calcium, minerals etc. that are included within the food selected for my consumption. I do HIGHLY recommend speaking to a nutritionist or doctor before engaging in serious weight loss endeavors. I did. I may have lost too much weight in such a short period of time, but I am now attempting to lose weight in a more reasonable manner, do ensure long term results. NOT a quick fix.

A couple of months ago i was 162 pounds. then i didnt do anything about my weight until now and now im about 151 pounds!! just by eating eggs for breakfast..tuna for lunch...and riding my bike and excercising more and drinking 8-10 cups of water a day!!

Hey Everyone, I just thought i'd share with you some of my experience about being overweight. I was overweight from the time I was 3 or 4 til 14. My mom used to enable me by making fattening foods such as cookies, chinese and any kind of dessert. Overtime it stuck to me, literally, I ended up weighing 313 pounds when I was 14, now I'm 16 and 130 pounds, I'm so happy. I didn't have surgery, no special diet, no pills... I learned to exersise and eat moderately. If you want a cookie or a little ice cream, have some! just don't sit there and eat 5 cookies or a pint of ice cream, it's all just common sense! remember, it's not what you eat, it's how much you eat that counts!

Well guys, my name is Caitlyne, I'm 15 years old and I first joined this site on July 16th. On july 16th I weighed 186.5 lbs at 5'6. Since then I've managed to get down to 176. So in 2.5 weeks I lost 11.5 lbs. How, you wonder? Eating 1250-1450 calories a day and doing a 5.5 mile bike ride along the waterside every 2nd day. My weightloss is starting to slow down a little bit so I'm going to start biking a little further evertime this happens... Good luck to all of you, you Can DO IT!

haiiii!!!at the age of 10 i was 10 stone......i new i had to lose the chub so i recently started jogging and cutin out fatty foods iv now lost 1stone 5lbs in 2 n a half months!!!!keep up the weight lose peeps its worth it!!!x

To lose weight you have to use more calories that you eat. That means eat less, move more. Things you can do to help that is eat a healthy breakfast to start your day. Eat lowfat/fatfree dairy (yogurt,milk,cheese) Brush your teeth righ after dinner so you will pass on desert. Chew gum when your not hungry but want to eat. DRINK LOTS OF WATER!! Get up and move when ever you can. Shopping, cleaing, yardwork, running, the gym, hula hooping, swimming, b-ball, soccer, weights, walking the dog, anything that gets you moving is great!! You can do it!! I was once 5'1 and 150 lbs and nOw I'm 5'3 and 128 so it's 100% doable!!

Well im now down to 105 with about an other 10 more pounds to go. I lost about 20-25 pounds just by drinking water nd eating lots of furits. If u get hungry just drink a bottle of water it will fill u up nd also try walking about 1 mile everyday or just jog for 15-30 minutes in ur neighborhood.
