i would just like to tell everyone that if u believe that it is nearly impossible to lose weight u are WRONG. I am 5'4 and now around 200 pounds. i kno that is alot but i started out at 230 pounds just a few months ago. my secret is a game called DDR or dance dance revolution. it is available for the x box and for playstation 1 and 2. you may have seen it in many arcades. it involves stepping on a $20 dance pad when the screen tells u to. it is difficult at first like anything but if u follow the instructions on the game you are sure to get good at it. if u are like me, u dont want to be seen outside exercising because you are too embarassed. this is a great way to privatly lose as much weight as you want. the awesome thing is that it is actually fun to do. the game costs around $50 then each dance pad is $20. if u are like me, that is not a big deal because in return u get the chance to finally lose weight and keep it off.

heres an idea I have, tommorow I am making an "at home gym"! At my house we have old weights, one machine, some yoga mats, random workout tapes and some extra workout materials like bands, boards ect....I am going to designate a space in the attic by our tv as a workout station, with a boom box and everything! I think this would be a great idea for the winter and someone who likes to work out at home! If you dont have any workout material at all and you cant afford to buy some, you can used canned food as weights, do little things like deignate little areas to dance like crazy (yes its a workout if you do it long enough) and lay out a towel and print out palietes and yoga moves from the interet and do them there....plus you can make this gym as cute as you want! you can decorate it with pictures, boas, whatever you want! I think AN IN HOME GYM! is a great idea, if you need any ideas or help...just leave a reply and ill get back to ya!

Aw, dont be so hard on yourself. Wow your reallie tall for 12! 5' 6"! Kool, Im 5' 7" but yeah I've been this height since I was 13. Anyway, try small things, like walk the dog, or borrow a neighbors if you dont own one. Try knee lifts, while watching television, or my favorite, PILATES.. oh yeah thats the best. I swear its the best. YOu like lay on the floor the entire time. Well I hope it helps. Email me for tips: Lazycraziebaybee@aol.com

Weight training is good cuz when you have got more muscle your metabolism speeds up and you burn fat more quickly, so even when your not doing it your still losing weight. You also wanna do some aerobic exercises - like swimming or running cuz you get the best results if you do both.

I have had more results with The FIRM. It's fun and the instructors on it really encourage you and it helps you to stay dedicated. I did tae-bo, but it doesn't really work that well for me.

you're burning calories just being alive every second. sledding probably burns more too because of the climb up hill and the screamoing and such...

i know one! ok- lay on your back with your palms of your hands on the ground and under your butt(for more support) your legs should be straight up and together. with controlled movements move your legs down- almost touching the ground and then raise them back up slowly and repeat as many times as you want or can. make sure your legs stay together and straight. good luck!

but with situps you'll build muscle and muscle burns a lot more fat during the day even when you're not exersizing. but you do need a cardio workout 3 times a week for about 30 minutes at least to burn some calories off. you need to burn 1000 more calories than you consume a day if you want to lose 2 pounds a week. www.caloriesperhour.com helps me keep track of that. good luck!eat low calorie veggies a lot too!
