well- sometimes it's gaining muscle before losing the fat ontop and there might be other reasons like your womanly cycle of retaining water and stress will do it too. just keep at it- i know it's annoying but eventually it'll give...

No because when you are sick it is really easy to lose weight, and normal because it is hard to eat. For example, Once when I had the stomach flu I lost like 6 pounds in three days, so to answer your qustion it is normal, and you won't lose that much weight that quickly afterwards though, cuz you won't be sick. But don't worry it's normal.

just try your hardest- but don't match the sizes with the weights- it doesn't work- belive me- i've lost about 17 pounds and i'm still the same size i started out as- i do look better- but i'm still the same pant size. i want to be a size 10 to- i think that it's possible and that you can do it. good luck!

I am 5' 10" and 185 lbs. Right now, I am a 14-16 and can also wear juniors clothes. I wouldn't worry about the size... a 12 would be stunning, but just concentrate on exercising and doing cardio. If you do somehting that'll make you stronger like a special sport or weight lifting, you'll probably start to look smaller, but weigh more. That's the best thing you can do because I used to be the same as you (kinda' a big pants size and weight not much... That's because you can handle more muccle on you) and now I'm improving.

weight and size aren't ratiod when you lose weight. i'm bigger then my friend and i'm 158 pounds and she's 165 and is smaller by 3 sizes and we're both pear shaped by the way. it really depends on where your body losses its weight from. so far i've lost 12 pounds and haven't lost a single pant size but my waist and under my breasts and arms have lost weight but i've only lost an inch off my hips and 2 inches off where my pants are a couple of inched below my belly button...

you can't spot reduce so you'll just have to diet and exersize and reduce your overall fat percentage.

no- you can't spot reduce- you need to lose overall fat on your body to get at one part. sorry! i wish you could though- it'd definately be easier. oh well. i'm sorry to hear you broke your collar bone but what you can do right now is concentrate on an extremely healthy diet untill you can put exersizing back into your plan. go to www.caloriesperhour.com to find out how many al.s you burn in 24 hours and then eat less then that and you'll lose weight...

BMI Ranges: What they mean
Experts generally consider a BMI below 20 to be underweight and a BMI of 20 to 25 to be healthy. BMIs of 25 to 30 are generally considered overweight while a BMI over 30 is generally considered very overweight (obese).

if you're truely doing what you said you are- then it is working no doubt about it- look, losing weight isn't some huge secret someone's keeping- it just takes time to see that it's actually working. and also- eat healthy but not too much of the healthy stuff becasue too many cal.s will just make you gain weight.

if you just take things one step at a time they really add up after a while. remember it's not a 1 day thing though. if you just get up and exersize in the morning then you'll feel better becasue not only does it help your body, but you'll feel relieved that it's over for the day at least. and then just do moinor tweaks to your diet- such as only drink water if you're going to drink something- or at least diet whatever...

you don't have to be skinny, you should be healthy. You want them to respect you because you take care of your body, not because you're some stick-insect. Take care of your body, feed it really healthy foods and exercise, and it'll take care of you. (okay, that sounds a bit weird, but go with it :) )
