hi everyone I tink I ate a little too much this spring break because I have gained ten pounds and now I weigh 120 can anyone help me lose at least 2o pounds in three weeks before I get weighed in front of everyone!
You WILL NOT lose 20 punds in 3 weeks. I tried losing 20 pounds in 2 months .......ya right.

how tall are you. 100 might be overweight. even if it is, just watch your diet and workout more, and dont allow yourself to gain weight for a while, so you will "grow in" to your weight.

I am not saying you can't, cuz you could if you tried hard, it's just to make such a huge change is not just going on a diet and then eating normally again, it is making a change of lifestyle, like me for example, I am 130 and i want to go to 115 (I am 5ft 4inchees by the way) and i realize I am going to have to change in my lifestyle, I am trying to get there, but I don't think it will happen, i guess what I am trying to say is trying making a more "realistic" goal like 135-140 for example, and then continue from there

You can lose that much weight in 10 weeks but it will be VERY hard because thats 3.5 pounds a week. You should try for more like 20 pounds probably becuase that would only be 2 pounds per week. Hope this helps a little! *rach*

I'm so H.U.G.E! I'm 5'4" and I weigh 213 pounds! I want to lose about 100 lbs before the time I enter the 7th grade, which is in this August! I want to look good and I want to get this boy I really think is cute to like me!!! I know I have to exercise, eat less, drink water, and stuff like that, but it's hard! I mean, really, really hard! Does anybody have any advice on how I can reach my goal?! (Besides eat less, drink water, exercise, and cut back on sugar. I know that already!) 100 pounds in about five months seems very unrealistic. try setting goals like i'm gonna lose 10 pounds. then after you lose those 10 pounds, keep making yourself to lose ten nore.

Hi...I'm 13 and I wiegh...well now I'm scared to look, but last time I checked it was 180. This summer I lost a lot of weight on Atkins...I went down to 165, I looked good and felt good. I also rode my bike EVERYWHERE untill I got hit by a car. Now that Crhistmas is here and I live in AK so it's all snow and I can't ride my bike. I feel worse about how look more than ever. Everyone tells me I'm pretty, but I can't be happy with myseelf untill lose wieght. I don't want to weigh 100 or sumtin right now 140 would make me happy. I feel sick everytime I look in the mirror becuase of my weight. I have seen a lot of ways to lose weight on here, but what are some fast ways. I have gone to the same school all my life with about 12 kids and we graduate from that school in June...and I want to look good. Does ANYONE have any ideas please... I have tried Atkins, Weight Watchers, Subway, and Eat right for your blood type...but the things is I i guess I love food and none of those work for me...anyone have any ideas I'm desperate here...thnx
Theres not really a fast way to lose weight...it takes time. You should try eating the things you like but just not so much. You could try following the food pyramid too. Hope this helps, *Rach or Ray*Ray

hi, not been here for long. i really hope to get an answer. why does my waistline get smaller but the scale does not show much difference?
You are probably losing fat and gaining muscle, and since muscle weighs more than fat, it might look like you are losing weight but the scale won't budge. I just go by the way my clothes look and fit on me, not the scale.

It depends how tall you are but if you know that you need to weigh 115 pounds go for it and don't get discouraged. Do it little by little, set 5-pound goals. Drink tons of water, and get involved in after-school activities, if there are any, it willl keep your mind off of food and you will socialize and make new friends. I fyour thinking, why should take advice from an overweight kid, let me tell you a little abou myself. I am 5ft 4in. tall and weight 132pounds. i am not fat but I am dieting and I wish I could be 115 too! but my goal is 120.

Hey u guys, I am not really sure what to do you see my scales aren't very accurate, so I don't knw wether they are telling me he right weight. You see when I went to the Gym with my friend (I will probably never go there again as I am not a member), and they said I weighed about 14lbs more than what my scales at home. What should I do! The scales at the gym are probably more accurate, so maybe you should go to a clinic and asked to be weighed..? Just to find out which scale is correct.

Losing weight isn't going to happen overnight but it will happen if you stick with it that is a fact. My advice to you is drind lots of water and try to eat healthy foods. And do not eat at night like set a curfew for your eating and don't eat a lot of junk food Good luck!

If you weigh your self everyday, that could be the problem. You are only supposed to weigh in once a week because you weight flucuates 1-2 lbs everyday. Another anwser is clothing, if you wore really light pajamas and a tank top when you weighed yourself once then you wore jeans and a denim jacket the next time you weighed yourself then it wont be accurate because denim weighs A LOT more than like sweats or pajamas.
