I Joined a Weight Loss Group Called TOPS (Taking off pounds sensibly) Ok Soo Whenn I started I was 11 Years Old At 301 Pounds, Thats a Lot right?!..I had very low self esteem and had just started at a new school. I joined the group with my mom At First I had Lost 37.7 Pounds and won first place in provincal and international division 8 age group,It Was Great Got A Trip to Disney World..Oh and i was twelve when i lost that weight, as i reached age 13 i was now at 240. Iam Still Losing and not going to give up,Because i realized i would feel better if i was healthy..I now have a high self esteem and iam going to my old school aand making friends..Its Feels great,
All I really did was eat less and healthier
walked occasionally i roller skate each weekend friday and saturday for 2 hours.
So All I got To say Is Never Give Up Even If You Gain half back
dont Give up and Try 5xs Harder.

i have started school like 4 weeks ago. things r a lot better now this year and without even trying i'm loosing a little weight. i'm eating healthier because i feel better about myself, and i can run 4 miles without stopping. i feel so much better now that i have friends, and this site has helped my self-confidence alot. everyone just keep trying and try to feel better about yourself. you really don't know how much inner emotions have to do with being over weight!!! g2g! peace and hairgrease!!

i had a jazz recitile and we wore belly shirts everyone made fun of me but i didnt care i just did my thing and everyone loved me shure they were looking at my tummy rolls but i felt good about myself for what i did.

usually if you have a high self esteem(feeling better about yourself) you are most likely to lose weight... hey i lost 5 lbs today!!!!

hey its me, im replaying to ur message. Well ive been doing it for 3 days and I feel energetic. I even feel skinnier, lol. I think i may have lost 1 or 2 pounds but its only been 3 days. Even today when i went to the mall with my skinny friend, I usually feel like crap compared to her and I just feel great. And the program isnt really extreme. It starts off with a nice warm up and then gradually works into a brisk walk. I love the cool down in the end because all of your muscles are warm and they strecth easily. I really do love "WAlk away the puonds", and when i got it I think it cost about $20. Which includes the 3 tapes: 1 mile, 2 mile , 3 mile, and the 2 weighted balls. I just smile in the end becauseit feels so great. Ill let ya know my weight progress. Bye

heres a message to all GIRLS. i notice that sumtimes when girls r overweight they forget about being feminine and they feel really ungirly because of their weight. but fun ways to keep u in touch with ur girly side are these: belly dance...it feels great and is amazing to watch no matter how u look..actually, any type of dancing that you'd never catch boys doing works!!!! another GREAT way to walk ur fat off is SHOPPING. take a trip to the mall for a whole day with ur best girls and go in like EVERY store. it doesnt matter what sizes the clothes are, just look at them and admire their variety. qo into accessory shops and sample perfume, or get your makeup done somewhere. you'll be walking SO much thatyou wont even REALIZE it. just stay away from the food court! you can also do the regular stuff like running and crunches and other excersizes...but afterwards, be sure to reward yourself with a manicure or pedicure!!! good luck and remember to stay a girl! ;)- LeYaNiSz

Ht. 5'8", Start: 200 lb, Today: 185 lb (BMI %tile: 96) - Wel i was 200, but i lost 15 lbs, and am now 185! I am 5' 8" I am so happY! And i was really happy when my friend's mom noticed that I lost weight, and said that she was realy proud of me! I didnt think that anyone noticed, but they did. I am happy!

id like to share a success story...when i was in 6th grade i was overweight like 150 n evry1 made fun of me...i had friends but i was unhappy with myself. over the summer between 6 and 7 grade i lost about 20 pounds n then i lost 5 more pounds all be4 school started...by dieting, bellydance and insane excersize. but im tellin you, it felt soo0o good. on the 1st day of school i was wearin a great new outfit and had a makeover done, and when i stepped into homeroom all the kids that knew me started clapping. i am much more confident now and have so many more friends and even boyfriends. YOU CAN DO IT TOO! LOSING WEIGHT CHANGED MY LIFE!

I've felt uncomfortable with my body for the longest time and I decided to never do anything about it.So...yesterday I decided that I would do 100 crunches a day and drink plenty of water. Also I think I am going to try walking with my 5-year-old neighbor. I'm hoping to lose 35 pounds. I want to do this so I can feel better about myself when I go to highschool and to gain self-confidence!! Tell me what you think...

I have always believed that people of bigger stature can be just as pretty as tyra banks or whoever... It just depends on how you present yourself to others, and how you feel about yourself. If you feel good, it shows. I am 5'7, 165, and i lost about 10 pounds. I am not small, but im healthy and im vibrant and beautiful. I get just as much attention if not more, because im confident, and i like myself for me. Big can be beautiful, just as long as you love who you are. Thanks much.

Hi1....I think the best way for u to loose weight and to gain more confidence is to eat loads and loads of fruits and vegetables and drink at least 6 glasses of water a day. u can also try to walk around the neighbourhood a couple of times a day. well. I hope it works out for you and good luck!

hey don`t feel bad about what other ppl think if you like taking walks then take walks it will help you lose wieght and if somebody looks at you and you don`t like it look at then the same way you should just do what makes you happy and even if you are over wieght i bet you are a really good person on the inside and thats what counts if you need someone to talk to you can email me at punkygurl8702@netscape.net or on aim punkygurl8702 i hope this advice works for you :)
