some people including women tend to think that the quickest way to lose weight is to eat right and do cardio.... well.. its right and wrong. If you add a small weight lifting routine to your workout, it can speed up your fat burner by 10 to 35%! why? When you build muscle, you burn fat much, much quicker! so try adding some small weights to your routine

hey all! i'm 14 and i'm really really fat and when i look at myself i want to kill myself! i want to knwo how to lose about 50 pounds FAST liek with in 2 months or by the summer! i dont' know what to do if i don't lose 50 pound i will kill myself and i'm really serious i've tried before! i will do it for sure this time!! so will some one please help me lose weight fast! thanx

One day,I was cleaning up after a party.I wanted to get a snack and didn't realise that someone placed a bowl of juice on top of the fridge near the edge.So,when I opened the fridge,the bowl of juice kinda fell on me and the wetness of the juice kinda made my T-shirtcling on to my GIGANTIC FAT stomach.My waistline is about 45inches.My height is about 4foot 9inches.my weight is about 200 pounds!Does anyone out there know how to lose a lot of weight and fast?

hey all!
well im in need of some major help! i think im balimic(or however u spell it) but i dont know if i really am, it all started last week, i know im overweight and wanted to do sumpin bout it but everything i try just didnt work so the last 3 day i havent eaten and when i do i throw it up( but i have only done it 3 times) is that bad? and if so what should i do bout it?? please help! thanx for ur time

Though my friends say its not true, I'm definitly fatter than all of them. I weigh about 127 pounds and I feel really gross. We have to wear a liotard for gym and its so embarrasing because I look so fat. I often find that everyone stares at me when I'm shopping and it really depresess me coz nothing fits right. My waist is 30 inches and thats the avarage for 15 yr olds! I want to lose weight, but nothing works!!! Please help me!!

Sometimes.. people think that if they lose 3 or 8 pounds in a week that it is good. No!! It is not healthy to lose more than 2 pounds of fat a week. If you are finding that you are losing more, it is probably water or muscle, and that is not good! Just remember to eat lots of protein, protein maintains and builds muscle!!!

"Tip of the day"
Want to know something about vegetables and fruits? They both contain alot of fiber.. whats fiber good for?? Well.. from an eating stand point, fiber tricks your mind into thinking you are full! so it burns fat and makes you think your full.. takes away those hunger feelings!

Hey all! I'm really confused, cuz I did a BMI test thingy at onhealth.com and keepingkidshealthy.com, and it said my BMI was 22.5, which was perfectly healthy according to them. I then came on this site and it said I was in the 89th percentile for my BMI and the 96th for my weight according to my age. It also said I was above the 97th for height. There are only 100 Grade 8s in my school, and that means I'm heavier than 96 of them. When I read that, I felt like I was gonna throw up. Not inducing bulimia or anything, it just made me feel so much fatter. I've lost 15 lbs unintentionally since I moved here a year ago, and it seems like every single girl in Gr. 8 at my school is under 100 lbs. We were doing a thing in Science where we were calculating our weight on other planets to see the effects of gravity, and I felt that I had to lie about my weight. Just to let everyone know: Ice water doesn't burn a lot of extra calories! I was watching a health show on TV. They said it's a myth just like some people in another country think sitting in a hot room and sweating will help you lose weight. But they said drinking ice water burns a few calories. I say that's good, because it adds up. I say you should keep on drinking it, no matter what the "experts" say. Besides, you need to drink your water!
