hey you guys i dont understand why everyone gets offended when someone who is not over weight is on this site and is trying to lose weight because the way i see it they are either preventing obesity or trying to go from obesity to a normal weight. i am no longer over weight its really just the last twenty pounds. but i see people over reacting all the time ...

Oh my, my friend (she doesn't go to this site) lost 30 pounds in 3 months! Amazing, huh. Well her computer is like *bleh* (broke) so she told me to tell you what she did. So excited, as usual LOL! Ok, this is what you do. Plan 3 simple meals (cheak calories, you will know wut is good and bad, i think everyone knows that *haha). Try to avoid the junk food and all those tempting yummies. For snacks eat fresh fruit, never eat can fruit (too much sugar). Excersise an hour a day, trendmill, running, anything that has to do with moving your body (everyone knows that, thats why it is called excersising!LOL) Exercising videos are good too, like everyone recommends Weight Watchers. I'll ask if there is anything else she wants to tell but if ya need to ask ques. be free to ask! ^.~ always happy to help!

Hey everyone. I lost 3 pounds in a week! I'm so happy, my aunt has this work out room in her house and it is full of cool stuff. I think the trendmill is best for losing weight because i spent most of my time on it. Plus its better because the cold outside doesn't get to ya, you have the heater! LOL. Well c ya. Everyone PLEASE use common sense on your diets and exercise.Eating to few calories a day causes the body to go into starvation mode, hordes any excess fat and burns MUSCLE!! and doing to much exercising of specific body parts (like the abdomen) can make things worse, make you sick and your body in worse shape. Trust me please....i lost over 200 pounds and i almost DESTROYED my abdominals doing to many crunches ..muscles need rest between workouts of at least a day to repair and rebuild tissue...muscles are formed by being torn down and rebuilt and it takes TIME. Losing weight (especially quiet abit) takes time to be done healthy, and losing it slowly and healthily makes it much easier to maintain your reduced weight and keep it from coming back.But shoot im not an expert so.....i hope that everyone is doing well and you all reach your goals.We can do anything we want if we just keep... please, ppl who know about foods and all those different types of carbs and calories, answer my question! : What can i eat right before a lot of exercise, like jogging for an hour, or something strenuous. Like something that will "burn" fast, but will be give lots of energy?

Alrighty.......Well i started off my day by waking up at 6:00 and running/walking on the tredmil for 30 minutes then when i came home from school i had like 2 scoops of noodles then a salad a piece of bread and a bananna then i had to hel my friend work the fish fry and i did alot of exercising there cuz i had to wait on people and clean up after everyone so it was alot of walking and stuff and i had som curly fries and water and when i came home i had a banannaWas this good???

There are some discrepancies out there about losing weight around the back of your hips right above the gluteous maxiumus (aka your butt.) While sufficent wieght lose can be aquired in that area, some fat will remain as a protection to your kidneys. Just thought that I would clear that up.

i'm overweight, i stoped weigning myself when i got to 185lb. i cant stand myself. i can't look in the mirrior when i take a bath. sometimes i think about starving myself but i know that doesn't work. i really want to just be normal. i looked up what my helthy body weight sould be for my height and it told me between 97-124lbs i'm so far away from that. i dont' want to be thin just happy and loved. i've never had a boyfriend and i can't stand to approch guys in that way. i don't eat poorly. i cut out all snack foods soft drinks increased my water intake and i'm trying to start running but i just feel hopeless. some times i get suisidal when i see my skiny friends and there boyfriends. can anyone help me please? anything you can say would be appreciated.
