i'm going to try fasting for a month i heard you can loose up to 20lbs and that it is also good for you!

Hey Kate,
Look fasting will not help you loose weight. My Nan is a nurse and has recommened not to fast as you will gain weight. Eat three healthy meals a day and eat alot of fruit and vegetables, drink a 6 glasses of water and do alot of excercise and you will loose up to 4-9 kilo's in 2 weeks or less.

Do not do it unless you want to die! That is not what you need to do. You need to eat the right foods like salads,fruits and vegetables. Listen to me do not do it. P.S. Exercise regulary to. GO0D LUCK!!!!!!!

that is really bad if you wanted to do it for a week just to do a detox i would not recommend it that is something annorexics do and this site is not like that
also doing that will burn all of your muscle pounds away and you will most likely keep all your fat so there would be no point in doing that except for seeing the scales drop for a month and then JUMP right back up again in the next couple of days so just do it like the rest of us i know it takes a while to lose weight BUT it did take a while to put it on didnt it?

Yes....u may think that is a great idea...last year I fasted for like 3 weeks...I started fainting like 24/7 and I became pale...no one found out...I did lose like 9 or 10 pounds though...the bad news was wen I started eating again...everything I had stayed in my stomach longer because it didn't know the next time I would eat. So for example... eating a brownie would stay in me for 3 days before digesting because my stomach wanted to save it incase I started starving myself again. And now I weigh more then I did then..and my friends make me eat...it is more embarrasing trust me...oh yea and also a good thing to do is get one of those dance c.ds with like Macerana or the eletric slide or something that you can jump around to and jump and dance for awhile...If you get nervous easily..go inside your room and dance...start with like 15 minutes and keep adding up...that way I eat normal, I am doing something I like to do, I am getting my skills ready for the next dance, and I don't have to do that sweaty jogging stuff...if u have any other questions email me at lilactressalexa@aol.com

Haha fasting isent really good for you. You can loose 20 lbs, yes....but once youstart eating normally again, you'll gain some of it back on. But if you are thinking about doing that, are you really not going to EAT anything for 30 days?
