i'm on my way to being fit. on sunday i started my diet and exercise program. i walked 4 miles on sunday, and 3 on monday, and i only ate 2000 calories on both of those days. i avoided fatty foods, i have eaten absolutely no junk food. lucky for me, i have found that i don't really care that i'm not eating junk food anymore, and after only two days i realize that it's alot easier to tell when i'm really hungry and when i just have the urge to snack. my self control has been suprisingly good, not once have i been tempted to eat something when i wasn't actually hungry. i know it's only been two days, but i'm encouraged with how the first two days have gone. by the way, i'm 5'10 and 270 pounds. i have a large frame, and i hope to get down to 200 pounds before my birthday, which is november 30th. a good thing to remember is that no food tastes as good as being fit feels and i wish the best... BROCOLLI AND CAULIFLOWER FEEL PAIN TOO.... I BET YOU EAT THOSE.... HOW DO YOU THINK THEY FEEL? God you're such a hypocrite. You've just decided to become a vegetarian and now you're telling everyone else what they do is horrible? WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING UP UNTIL LIKE YESTERDAY? I'm cool with you becoming a vegetarian, but keep your hatred of omnivores to YOURSELF. No one else cares. Good job trying to persuade us to become vegetarians by making exagerrations and broad generalities all the while alienating us and putting down our current choices. Yeah, that'll show us that veggies are the way to go. *dripping with sarcasm* Invest in a persuasive speaking coach before attempting to convert us, the supposed heathen meat eaters.

in the next few days at school its gonna be soooo embarassing! because, when i have pe we are split into single sexes so the lads dont see us and now in my science class were are studying health and we've got to do things like Sit ups and press ups infront of the class and the lad i like! argh lol i can do sit ups but not on a stone floor as it hurts ma back and press ups lets not even go there lol i have no upper strength even though on physical tests it says i am ! any tips please! lol

people dont kill animals for pleasure in food they kill them to get the right nutrition in there daily intake of food. but the farmers kill them for money so yeah.. and again not every one believes vegetarianism is the right way to go...

Hey okay, I am the SAME weight as a week ago, when I've been eating extreamly healthy and exercising a ton. Its not muscle gain...I checked. I've been eating 1200 cals a day and exercising 6 times a week about 1 to 2 hours each time. Does anyone know what gives? I'm kinda fusterated and I WONT GIVE IN! I just want to finish this diet off, its so hard.

Hi. I'm 5 foot 5.25 inches tall and 126 pounds. I know that I'm not overweight but I was just wondering if someone could explain to me about the percentiles for both weight and height. (They confuse me.)I'm in the 77th percentile for height and the 74th percentile for my weight. Are my weight and height percentiles supposed to match up? One of the women that my mom works with said that they're supposed to. Is that true?

the basketball season is over at my school, and my cardio is going to go down a lot. i really don't have the time to run around now that basketball is over. my mother generally gives me a lot of extracurricular activities like piano and art to keep me busy. i need to find some workouts that i can do fast and efficiently. ionly have about thirty minutes for excercise every day. i would also like to know if anyone has any stregth training regimens that don't include weight. (my mom doesn't apporove of them, don't ask me why). i have been eating quite well, but all through basketball i haven't lost a single pound. i still weigh aroung 160 pounds. i'm 5"2. it really bothers me because i train for 1 1/2 hours twice a week. i have P.E. twice a week for the same time. that means i excercise officially for 6 hours a week. then i do push ups, tricep dips, squats, and lunges in my spare time, or...
