i have dieted...or changed my eating habits...for the past month and lost 7 lbs. i have been just doin light exercises, stretching, and walking. its not a start but its something. i want to lose a total of 50 lbs. good luck yall!!!

wuts up yall...i been doing atkins for a while now, and all together i've lost like 30 lbs. Its been about 2 months since i started and it was easy at first but recentlty i hit a platau, since then its been hard to stick to the diet. I keep eatin sugar, and i cant help it. I still wanna loose like 100lbs, and i know i can do it, i just need some insperation to keep me going

Well, I haven't been doing this for very long, but I think I'm doing very well. I have lost 8 pounds in 19 days, which is when I started. Is that going to fast? Well, anyway, I did it by cutting back a lot on what I ate and exercised for 30 mins. a day 5 days a week. Oh yeah, and there's another thing that has kept me going all good friend Chelsea. She has been so supportive, and she's really helped to keep me motivated to lose weight. I believe that if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have lost as much weight as I have. Chels, if you read this, I want you to know how much you have inspired me to reach my goals. You have truly been a saint, and I hope we stay friends for a long time!!! I loves ya! Well, that's my story so far. It's not much, but it's a start.

Well Ive never really been over weight or anything, I am just very muscular. I weighted 140 lbs. Not much huh? But I am 5'3'', so it deffinitly wouldn't of hurt to loose a few pounds. So I found this site and made my goal 120. That would be perfect. It was so hard to loose the weight though. I would get so many chocolate temptations, but after a while I didnt. The pounds were drifting off very sslloowwllyy. I'm saying 2 pounds a month. It made me mad but I finally got to my goal of 120! So basically I counted my calories and ate around 1500 while playing soccer, running track, and going to the gym. When ever I got a craving for something I'd say to myself, "It will taste good for a few seconds, then once its done it won't." And that actuilly worked and helped me put down a lot of food! So if your looking to loose a of weight in a little amount of time, it wont work. Good luck yall cuz America's a bunch of fast food eating fatso's.

well- i'm down to 147 from 173. this is the lowest i've been. i've done this by eat a lot of veggies and less calories about 1200-1400 it averages out and i exersize regualrly by taking walks with my boyfriend, tennis practice, and when i have time- some awesome workouts w/ taebo. i still have about 17 pounds to lose but my shorter goal is to be 140 in a few weeks and then i want to be 125-130 for my final weight. i'm going to keep eatingnhealthy and exersizing even after i lose all of the weight i want to just because my body feels so much better when i take care of it properly and so i don't gain it back...

When I came here I was 158 pounds and now I weigh... 137.5!! that's 20.5 pounds gone, i want to lose about 8-9 more and then ill be at my goal!! I can't believe I've come this far. I never thought I could do it! I just ate healthier and really low fat and drank water and walked alot... and I finally lost the weight!! I just hope I can lose these 8 more pounds! hey, I used to live in new york, there i had allot of stress and allot of food not neccessarly healthy food, I used to jog 1 hr everyday with my dog and i only went from 220 to 200 and there i stayed until i came here to GA to live with my brother since then i went from 200 to now 165 and all my clothes fit, i still got some more weight to loose but that's going to come in the form of muscle. there's only so much weight u can loose until you reach a stand still. but remember never over-eat and stress is a major factor it promotes the hormone that gains weight, well this is my success story for now. i also plan to join track at my school im as fast as those guys so anyone looking to loose anyweight choose a goal and try as hard as you can to reach it!!! In april 2003 i weighed 348 lbs today April 2004 i weigh 288 lbs exercise and healthy eating is how i did it and writing down my feeling leaving spaces to come back and write later on on how sticking it out helped me out on the long run my problem is my lower stomach and inner thighs but i was always pretty active and loved running around i don't get why i was always so big but i'm trying my best now to change myself and feel better

Hey! I have gone from 190 to 135 in nine months and I feel great. I started the summer walking everyday and eating less. Of course because it was the summer i was also swimming everyday and on bike. i rode all around town! Then once school started I tryed to keep walking, but it was hard! so, I tryed to eat healthy and would work-out in my room in the nighttime. Stupidly enough I started to become bulimic. I would trow-up after I ate anything! Even one little cookie. After a while my stomach and throt hurt. It was bad! After a few months of that I realized I had to stop it. I talked to my friends about it and he helped me realize it was going to hurt me and that I was beautiful anyways. And my other friend told me that if I didn't stop she was going to tell my mom what I was doing!!! I did not want my mom to know! I was able to reach my weight goal by eating right and physical activities i did cheerleading and some softball. I always kept the weight losing to a point were a dont fell like i am starving myself but just enough were i dont feel like i am so full i will throw up. Just keep your mind on what youre doing and anyone can get through it!
