Hi, last year I was the most prettiest girl in my class (the skinniest). The kids in my class were all heavier than me and they said one day,all the junk food I eat will catch up with me. Yeah right! So everyday they came up to me giving me any food in sight of course I gobbled it down. It was only until spring tiem when I went to school and I was wearing my designer capris. That morning it looked liek my belly looked flabby and was floping over my pants. A week went by and they couldn't fit! My whoel belly could only fit if I held my breath with all my might. i figured it was stress, so I continued eating lieka pig. My breats had enlarged a ton and I was getting tons more attention from the guys! I was so happy until I was at a party I spilt soem juice on my outfit that seemd so tight but teh guys were lovin it! So I was trying on my friends clothes. i couldn't zip them up my whole... (view more)

First Id like to say I really think this is a beautiful site. I have been reading some of your stories and its just wonderful. I too am losing weight and I am 11 POUNDS to my goal. In highschool I was 158 and then I went to college and came back in the summer at 175.Then over the summer I went up to 192 for a week and I caught myself. iN AUGUST, I signed up to the nycs (Newyork sports club) and when I weighed my self initially I was 184. Gradually I went down to 180 by the end of August then 175 by October and Now I am currently 167. I ALWAYS tried to eat healthy. I credit my weight gain to slow metabolism. I wouldnt even say bad eating habits because I use to eat anything and it wouldnt really affEct me much . But I was in highschool and we had gym so I was always able to work it off. ANyhow I am now 167 and my goal is really 160, then 155 . I am trying to reduce body fat but I do... (view more)

I weighed 120 pounds my goal was to get at 100. Well wut I did was drink lots of water every day , I know you will get sick of it but it drains your body out and which when you do this you will have to use the restroom alot. So I did that then i did 200 crunches 200 sit-ups 200 jumping jacks 200 push-ups, but when i did that i did not stop in between I felt the pain it hurt bad but it was worth it cause that told me that it was working. Then for me I can do these I got in a handstand up against a wall and did kinda like a push up in the air when i went in the hand stand i bent my arms it was hard but i learned hwo but i did that for the past 2 months and i got to my goal, which i did the 200 things 3 times a day the morning afternoon and night well i did it that is my succesful story!

I've lost ten pounds. Most Importantly, there is no magic secret to weight loss. Weight loss is exactly what it is. I've been eating 3 meals a day, sometimes with healthy snacks in between. I've been drinking a TON of water and going to the gym about 5 days a week. I've pretty much cut out junk food completely as well. The most important key to weight loss is motivation. I'm not sure where all of mine came from. I went to the gym with my sister one day and all of a sudden a burst of motivation came out of no-where & has stuck since. I found that it also helps to keep a "journal" or something where you can record everything you've eaten that day how much exercise you got and how much water you've had to drink. Just give it a shot!

Hi everyone. Ive been coming to this site for awhile, but never really posted anything, just read and got inspiration from all the encouraging posts. Well I've been struggling with weight loss for many years and now I am at size 2. (I'm 5'2) Im proud of myself. I used to be size 8. All I ever heard was "eat right, exercise more" but I didn't have time to exercise everyday and its hard to always eat right. So I posted pictures of skinny models on my walls to push me to stop eating junk and eating more healthy. Whenever I would go to the fridge, I would see a thin body and then feel guilty and not eat. I found that most of the time, I didn't even need to eat, that I was just eating b/c I felt bored or b/c I had a craving. Now I watch every bite that goes into my mouth even though I have many slip ups, esp lately. But I justed wanted to share my story and everyone you can do it.

Hey everyone...I just wanted to give you guys major congrats and encouragement...I was where you are and unfortunately still weight has gone up and down for the last 10 years...but take the weight off gets much harder as you get older. Remember, that now it seems so important to be thin because you want to look pretty and hansome, but there is a much bigger issue you have to consider: your health. What you do at 12, 16 and older does effect you life in the future. Take control now so you can really enjoy the rest of your life!!! I have lost 60 lbs since august going to the gym and eating less refined sugar (candy, ice cream, that sorta stuff)and also going to the gym at least 4 times a week. All of you keep going and just imagine the possibilites you have when you are healthy and feel good about yourself...those thoughts are what inspire me everyday!

I am 5'8", and 167. Last October (2003), I was exactly 200 lbs! My goal weight is 120, and so far, I have lost 33 lbs. I play soccer in the fall and spring, and bike a lot in the summer. This should help me even more. All i did was watch my food, and not go on purges. It takes willpower to do this, but u can do it!
