Anyways- it just occured to me as of last year that people were calling me chubby, and I, easily giving in to peer pressure decided I wanted to do something about it. I found my pair of rollerblades, and went outside every day and rollerbladed for at least a half hour with some of my friends. I also watched what I ate, (And since the "Lent" holiday had started) I gave up ALL sweets. I never thought I could do it, but I did. Also, for lunch @ school I ate an apple. This seems like a heck of a lot to do, but believe it or not it was VERY easy. After a few weeks, my 5' 1'' body was down from 132 to 125. This doesnt seem like a lot but it shows. And after a while, your body will stop craving sweets. This helped me, so hopefully i can help u feel better about yourself too. *Lots Of Water! * EXCERCISE! *CUT OUT SWEETS! *Love yourself!

I started getting heavy as of age 5 b/c of steroids(asthma). just last year i got off of the steroids. Now, I thought it was time to take action and loose weight.I tried every diet.But these diets didn't contain drinking lots of water. I was very depressed. Then as i was searching online i found this web site. you people really encouraged me and help me loose weight.Now I don't eat out, eat junk food,or drink soda or juice. I eat lots of fruits and veggies. I drink tons of water(a gallon a day). I also don't eat after 6 o'clock. I exercise by dancing for 1hr or MORE! I love to dance. I also do 150 crunches after i finish dancing.I dance off to people like Joe Budden, jay-z, 50 cent,camaron etc... You could email me at darknlovly13@aol.com. I was always overweight most of my life but after i graduated high school, I put on 40lbs very fast. I was 5-8 and 240lbs. I felt so embarassed and just hated the way I look. I decided to go on a diet on Jan 2001 as my new years resoultion. Basically I stopped eating fast food and cut down on my meals. Also I was working a physical job so that helped too with the exercise. Basically 8 hours of walking and moving heaving objects around. Now its June 2003 and I have lost a total of 90lbs. I am 150lbs now and I am very happy I lost the weight. I still need to exercise more but it was very hard work but I know I will never go back to being overweight. I am very proud of myself that I did lose the weight and I am also proud of all of you also. Its a shame though how society judges heavy people. I did it for health reasons and also social reasons. It stopped all the tesing at school and just did way more for me!

Being 5'5'' and weighing 193 pounds, i was so depressed. My life sucked and i was so unhappy, especially when my friend dropped all of her wieght (even though it was throught bulemia). So about 5 months ago i started dieting, and without any working out, i have lost over 60 pounds, but i'm still not there. If any of you out there have any FAST ways of losing weight or fat (especially for my tummy) please post something on this site directed towards me.!

I just want to let everyone know, that if you make yourself up a simple diet plan, like no junk food, veggies, fruits lots of water and excersie, it does work. When I started 2 1/2 - 3 weeks ago i weighed 182 pounds, now i'm 170 pounds. So if u just stick to it, you can do anything! I'm still continuing to loose weight!

And with heart disease, diabetes and other diseases being on both sides of the family, I knew I had to change it. I weighed in at a total of 358lbs on August 24th, 2002. Now almost 9 months later, I am down to 245lbs, standing at 6'3". Ive tried everything I could think of since junior high. If I can do it, any of you can. Simple change of eating habits, cutting out fast food, deep fried food, pizza, pop, and simply hitting the gym. It wasnt easy, and wont be, but is way worth it. I have 10 times more energy then I can ever remember and shopping is definently alot more fun and definently not as depressing as what it was 9 months ago. Even though I have about 40 more that I need to lose, Im on the right track, and for those of you who think its never gonna happen and wanna give up, DONT! it will come off, just keep it up!

When I was 12 years old I was a size 20 and I weighed 215lbs. I felt disgusting and never wanted to leave the house. Finally I had had enough and decided to start my very own diet. I started eating only two meals a day(lunch and dinner), exercised for 20-30 minutes four times a week, and drank lots of water. It took me just under a year lose all of the weight I wanted. I have kept the weight off for four years and now weigh 125lbs, am a size 7, and eat more regularly. I just want to let everyone know that I tried and tried to lose weight prior to this diet but failed everytime. When you are truely ready to lose weight nothing will be able to stop you. From azeala, Age 13, female - 05/12/03 - IP#: 24.165.164.xxx hi i am 5'4 and i weighted 162 i hated it i was BIG i am now 5'5 and i weight 135 that's almost 30 pounds which 4 me and some is alot to loose i'm so happy i wanna loose about 10 more pounds i don't exactly know what i did to loose the weight becoz i didn't try i just stop eating like i was a football player and drank lots of water and the weight came off and i'm happy to say it's still coming off,and if i can do it ANYONE can just push the plate back a lil and don't forget the water.
