I wieghed 180 to about 190 pounds... the kids would really pick on me... at first i didnt see my self as overweight... i was in denile... then i saw a modivation to loose weight... and that was my sister. She would always get the cute guys to look at her. And well i got the ugly glares. So i cut back on a lot of my income, of food. I would swim almost everyday. I lost about 20 pounds that summer. And a total of 10 pounds through out the year. i still have some ways to go... my goal is about 127-132. Looking good makes me feel better. And to all you poeple who are stuck at the weight your at, and are disgusted, dont stop trying. You just need to find a motivation... Good luck!

After learning the importance of a healthy lifestyle last year,i realized that it was time for me to change my habits. Last year i weighed 190lbs by slowly begining to excercise and consume less food, i slowly began losing weight. As the first few pounds of my weightloss shed off my body i realized i could do it. I soon gained an amazing will power and became able to resist junk foods. I only ate what i felt would benefit me.My excercise turned into a nightly jog for 20min and sit ups and leg excercises to follow it. I now weigh 148lbs and am still losing weight, i fell alot better about myself and i am much more dtermined than ever.

Hey. At my heaviest (the beginning of my Junior year) I was 5'3" and 165 lbs.! My BMI was 29, way too high. I realized I really needed to lose the weight. I drank more water, it helps. I ditched most sodas and juices. Now, almost all I drink is water, and if there is soda around, then I limit it to a can a day. The thing you need to remember is that you should never follow a fad diet, or any diet plan for that matter. Everyone is different, and each person needs to look at their eating habits and change them accordingly. And there is no such thing as "bad" food. I ate pizza about once a week and ate ice cream and fast food (every once in a while), among other things. The important thing is balance. Use up what you eat. I also ate more chicken and salad, they're good for you. I also began an exercise program. You should try riding bikes. It helps burn fat, and it's fun. I am now 130 lbs. and I grew 1 1/2". People have begun to notice, and it feels good. I have been pretty heavy all my life, if I can do it, you can too.

I would like to tell you a little about me, and what I have learned. I have been big my whole life. Well when I was a junior in highschool and decided hey I need to lose some weight I hit my highest weight at 225 pounts at about 5'll". Well I droped down to 175 pounds in about a 4 month period and kept it off for about a year but gained it all back and then some. I weighed about 250 lbs and was about 6'0". I graduated highschool and started working out and eating right. I totally transformed my body in about 8 months. I had a small waist and muscle on muscle. I weighed about 200 pounds and looked great. I almost had a six pack. Well I went to college quit working out and gained it all back. Now I am at it again and looking and feeling great. I had always been worrying about my weight. I looked at my peers and thought of myself as ugly and fat. During the christmas of 8th grade i reached my highest weight at 175. I was shocked when i got on the scale. When i decided i wanted to lose weight me and my mom started weight watchers. Week by week the pounds came off. My self confidence reached and all time high. I am now at 145 my goal weight when i started it took 5 months to reach it. Hey, Jme 15/f/nj here. To anybody who wants to know how I got from over 200 lbs. last year to 124 now here's how I did it: Firstly, water does NOT help you lose wieght. It is still really good for you, but it isn't some sort of magic weight loss aid. However, I totally cut out all drinks from my diet besides water (& 1 glass of skim milk for health reasons) after talking with my doctor. Soda, Juice,Ice tea, coffee = unneeded calories. Secondly: I had my doctor set an activity chart for my age, height, weight, and personal needs. Next time you go to your doctor, you can have them do this for you, or if you want, do it youself. I found time every day to exersize in some way for no less than one hour. I'm sure all of you have at least one hour to spare a day. it is the beginning of summer and ive decided to loose weight because i am 5,5 now and i weigh 160 i want to weigh 125 so this summer im going to try to loose 35 lbs so ive got my mom to only buy healthy food and im going to excersize ALOT more like biking, basketball, swimming and just bassic home excersising like crunches and push ups, i really want to loose the 35 lbs in this 2 months so that wen school starts i wont be so un nodiced (and it would actully be fun to go shopping) so im very excited for this and i hope i can do it.

i am 6'0" and 182lbs i used to weigh 235lbs i looked at myself in the mirror one day and realized i was really over weight. I diceded to do something about it so i started walking every night after work about a mile fast pace. then i started jogging and watching my diet> i now jog three miles a day and follow a stricked diet and it works. I eat a bowl of oatmeal in the morning everyday a salad for lunch and fish or chicken for dinner no skin on the chicken. Dont get discuraged eat your oat meal and excerise at least 30 minutes a day you will see results fast.

Hey everyone i am excited to be here. This site is very helpful and its been on my faves list for about 5 months. i am 5'4" and i used to be 170lbs and then when my family and i went on a cruise i looked at myself in the mirror and i just couldn't take it i was getting heavier by the day so i decided to go on a diet and excercise and it worked. i cut out alot of the real bad things that i ate during the day and i drank alot of water...I am still on a diet and have been for the past 4 months but i am now 150lb's. i didn't use any diet pills or drinks i did it all natural. just cut out alot of your carb intake too and that will help alot. I also heard somewhere when you chew the food more it makes you feel fuller so try that it works for me and i no longer feel like food is my life anymore!!!BE PATIENT I WAITED 4 MONTHS AND I LOST 20 POUNDS!!!

Hey people....hows it going.....i weight about 180 and i really wanted to loose some weight so i decided to cutt out the junkfood that im always eating!!! and i excercised more and about 8 weeks later i was down to about 140!! i was really proud of myself so whoever wants to loose weight try ur best and dont give up!! and dont waist ur money on pills and slim fast!! u can do it urself and save ur money while ur doing it!!

I got ppregnant last year , i got really fat afterwards, i was almost 300 pounds , i cried and ate all the time , i was the fattest in the high school , i had to have a special desk , i started to walk the track everyday after school , then jogged , then eventually was able to run , i now weigh 230

I have battled with my weight for most of my life. I was within the normal range, however, probably until I was about 15, and by the time I was 16 I had topped out at 195 lbs and knew I had to do something. For me, every pound was extremely difficult. I finally realized that there really is only one way to lose weight healthily: eat less and exercise more. There's just no way around it. Don't skip meals because not only is it bad for you, but it causes you to overeat at later meals. Two years later I weigh about 160, and let me tell you that it became a lot easier after I started exercising consistently 4-5 times a week for at least an hour. You really just need to stay consistent, try not to splurge too often, and believe in yourself. I'm 5'7.5 and I've set a goal weight of 135-140. I don't think that I'll ever give up on the hope that I can actually be skinny one day, but I guess we'll see what happens.

I have been coming to blubberbusters for a while now! It's really great talking to someone who is just like you and can help each other the way you would want to be. Eating healthy is what's hard for me but I had to do it I mean some of the hardest things in the world are to tough to but as long as you try your already succeeding. I was 200lbs but now I'm 112lbs! "WOW". I feel great and you will too if you just try!!
