Its been about 2 months since i started and it was easy at first but recentlty i hit a platau, since then its been hard to stick to the diet. I keep eatin sugar, and i cant help it. I still wanna loose like 100lbs, and i know i can do it, i just need some insperation to keep me going

Is that going to fast? Well, anyway, I did it by cutting back a lot on what I ate and exercised for 30 mins. a day 5 days a week. Oh yeah, and there's another thing that has kept me going all along...my good friend Chelsea. She has been so supportive, and she's really helped to keep me motivated to lose weight. I believe that if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have lost as much weight as I have. Chels, if you read this, I want you to know how much you have inspired me to reach my goals. You have truly been a saint, and I hope we stay friends for a long time!!! I loves ya! Well, that's my story so far. It's not much, but it's a start.

But I am 5'3'', so it deffinitly wouldn't of hurt to loose a few pounds. So I found this site and made my goal 120. That would be perfect. It was so hard to loose the weight though. I would get so many chocolate temptations, but after a while I didnt. The pounds were drifting off very sslloowwllyy. I'm saying 2 pounds a month. It made me mad but I finally got to my goal of 120! So basically I counted my calories and ate around 1500 while playing soccer, running track, and going to the gym. When ever I got a craving for something I'd say to myself, "It will taste good for a few seconds, then once its done it won't." And that actuilly worked and helped me put down a lot of food! So if your looking to loose a of weight in a little amount of time, it wont work. Good luck yall cuz America's a bunch of fast food eating fatso's.
From anne, Age 17, female - 04/18/04 - IP#: 216.66.107.xxx well- i'm down to 147 from 173. this is the lowest i've been. i've done this by eat a lot of veggies and less calories about 1200-1400 it averages out and i exersize regualrly by taking walks with my boyfriend, tennis practice, and when i have time- some awesome workouts w/ taebo. i still have about 17 pounds to lose but my shorter goal is to be 140 in a few weeks and then i want to be 125-130 for my final weight. i'm going to keep eatingnhealthy and exersizing even after i lose all of the weight i want to just because my body feels so much better when i take care of it properly and so i don't gain it back...

I can't believe I've come this far. I never thought I could do it! I just ate healthier and really low fat and drank water and walked alot... and I finally lost the weight!! From Keith, Age 16, male - 04/05/04 - IP#: 68.51.176.xxx hey, I used to live in new york, there i had allot of stress and allot of food not neccessarly healthy food, I used to jog 1 hr everyday with my dog and i only went from 220 to 200 and there i stayed until i came here to GA to live with my brother since then i went from 200 to now 165 and all my clothes fit, i still got some more weight to loose but that's going to come in the form of muscle. there's only so much weight u can loose until you reach a stand still. but remember never over-eat and stress is a major factor it promotes the hormone that gains weight, well this is my success story for now. i also plan to join track at my school im as fast as those guys so anyone looking to loose anyweight choose a goal and try as hard as you can to reach it!!! Of course because it was the summer i was also swimming everyday and on bike. i rode all around town! Then once school started I tryed to keep walking, but it was hard! so, I tryed to eat healthy and would work-out in my room in the nighttime. Stupidly enough I started to become bulimic. I would trow-up after I ate anything! Even one little cookie. After a while my stomach and throt hurt. It was bad! After a few months of that I realized I had to stop it. I talked to my friends about it and he helped me realize it was going to hurt me and that I was beautiful anyways. I don't exercise in the night on Thrusday and Friday, or Saturday morning.But other then that I exercise both in the morning and the night. This week I am going to strat to try and drink at least 6 glasses of water a day. It clens out your body and keeps you feeling in top shape. But, if you are going to follow anything I did, please do not be bulimic. I have been bulimic, anerxic, and a complusive exerciser before I have lost any weight. I would lose little bits of weight and gain it back, so please don't do it! It is so stupid. I want you guys to learn from this and to be smart. I always kept the weight losing to a point were a dont fell like i am starving myself but just enough were i dont feel like i am so full i will throw up. Just keep your mind on what youre doing and anyone can get through it!

Some of its just common sense. You dont really need chips, soda and crap. DO YA!?!?! I drink water, I exercise about 3 times a weeek. When i first began I only did about 30 crucnhes a day now ive worked up to 90-100. Im happy to say I've reached my goal and im now 125lbs. I never thought I'd be able to do it. But im always watching what i eat, and excercising regularly, and getting out as much as possible. I take gym courses throughout highschool, joined the soccer team, and I run track and Im on my way to join a health club. My new goal weight is 120lbs-115lbs, around there and Im building up muscles and getting toned for the summer time.I wish everyone good luck. Remember, when your trying to loose weight just keep thinking how much happier u'd be! Thats my motivation.
From kiarra, Age 14, female - 03/29/04 - IP#: 152.163.252.xxx o.k. i started to look fat at age 5 or 6, i never exersised and i ate every thing in site, at around age 10, i was 175 lbs, at age 13 i was 203,and when i turned 14 i was 254 lbs,my mom was lighter then me, she's 44 and she was only 180 lbs. i needed to loose weight, and my aunt dee sent me this program, and i lost 15 lbs in a week,i am now 239, i know it's still not healthy, but i lost a bunch of weight in a short time, just by cuting every thing i ate in half, not eating more than 3 meals a day, i got the splinda surgare, it's sweet no callories, no fat sugare, diet soda and and water only, and exersise every day for at least 30 minnits,i went 7 or 8 years hating my self and feeling bad about my self. just try it you can do it, it's easyer then it looks and sounds. when i reach my goal i will post again, my goal is 120.

I was homeschooled at the time and on a program where I could do my homework on my own while my parents were at work. So while doing my homework I would eat ice cream and juck food while I was studying. I was really embarrassed about the way my face looked and arms. I always wore long-sleeve shirts and didn't like when people took pictures of me from the side, I also got really fed-up with having to always suck my stomach in so it wouldn't look bad. Then in 10th grade I went to a public school and for some weird reason I lost 17 lbs. in 1 1/2 months. I don't really know if this is consitered a success story being I really don't know how I lost that much weight, besides not eating during class, but all I know is that it feels good and now being 17 years old, my weight is 125lbs.
