hello i just started loseing weight 2 months ago i was 220 pounds i am now 193 and what i do is walk 30 mins a day and watch what i eat i also ride my bike for 30 mins a day i feel great and starting to look good too my friends have been saying wow you have lost weight when you hear that it makes you feel wonderful my goal is to get to 150 i wont give up so i hope for those also doing it dont give up!!!! i know its hard but dont give up you can do it BE STRONG. oh if you want to talk to me email or add me to msn and we can lose weight togther :D

I am 5'10" and i used to weigh 178 lsb. but now i weight... 164 lbs. I am a very muscular girl because i play many sports. The only place that i have fat is.... in my tummy.... every where else it hard as a rock. It is just the lower abs to... the top part is rock hard to.My goal weight is to be 150 in a month or two. I am hopping i will get there by playing all of the sports that i play and soem extra running and walking on the side. Right now i am proud of myself for how much weight i have lost in only 3 weeks.

I use to weigh 160 and now i weigh 133. i am not exactly at my goal weight but it was one heck of a job losing that weight. I didnt exercise to lose it all i did was eat way healthier.i cut out all the junk food(candy,chips,icecream,etc.)

About half a year ago I started exercising a bit, and eventually I was going to the gym every day. I ate smaller meals, skipped desserts (most of the time : ) - I've found it's okay to treat yourself now and then), and learned to love salad. I also learned to eat for the sole purpose of satisfying hunger, not for pleasure or entertainment. My motivation was that I'd felt fat for as long as I could remember and I was just sick of it. I was just like, enough already.
When I started my journey I was ten pounds over my healthy weight range. I was using up 500 more calories than I took in every day, and eventually pushed up to 1000 with some added exercise. After four months I had lost fifteen pounds! The best part is, I've been able to keep exercising somewhat regularly, and have been keeping the weight off. Hey everyone! I really love this web site because it has given me the encouragement that others won't. I am 5'3 and as of today I have lost 5lbs. I used to be 120 and now I am 115. All I did was do my workout video everyday and eat a less. Also, making sure that you are always occupied is a good idea so you won't think about food that much.

When i was 10 years old i was BIG! Health was not something I was concerned with. However my doc otor was. Year after year I'd go to the doctors and i would have gained 10 to 20 pounds every year. Then when I turned 12, I started to get made fun of more, and I noticed that I could barely run in school. So that was it. I decided to lose weight. I started doing 30 minutes of cardio every day and I started weight training. # months later I'm 30 pounds lighter and I look and feel great! My advice to you is to try your best and don't quit. It's not too late to lose weight whether your 10 pounds or 50 pounds overweight. Start early!

i joined my highschool track team. i suck at sports. i played them in middle shcool and i was the kid they clapped for when i kicked the soccer ball out of bounds because they felt bad at me.
so i joined track b/c you need no skill. and you get used to it. i lost a looot of weight on it. 10 pounds. and even though tracks over i know how to excersize. it's pretty hot, if you really wanna know.

I worked out on a treadmill every day for 2 weeks. I lifted weights and walked my dog. I ask myself if I am really hungry and ask if I really want to eat ice cream and have pleasure for a few minutes or not eat it and have the pleasure of losing some pounds forever. Drink lots of water and try to walk 10,000 steps a day and don't drink a lot of regular sodas go for diet or just plain water. I lost 15 lbs and I feel a lot better!!

This is to Annie, who sounds really discouraged. annie, don't give up! I know how it is to be looked through because of my weight. I don't even know how much I used to weigh but it was well over 300, like you, because the scale just said "error" because it only went to 300. here's what I did: I started drinking green tea, which helps your body burn fat, walking just a little bit at a time and working up to more and more, cutting way back on soda, and enjoying all my favorite foods, just less of them. I now weigh 150 and am very happy. Annie, I was so discouraged ever since age 11 when I began piling on the weight but IT CAN BE DONE. Don't lose heart. :)

I haven't posted in a long while, but I'd like to adress that I've had major success with eating between 1200-1400 cals. per day and excercising at least 1 hour. I have lost 20 pounds, and people comment me every where I go on how good I look now. My self esteem in a lot higher, and I feel better about myself. Even my girlfriend is now thrilled to be with me for this skinny guy that was hiding behind the fat for his whole life. You can do it everyone! If I can do it, you all can do it! Have faith in yourself and get encouragment from others! It is sooo worth it in the end when you're so much healthier -- mentally and physically -- and you look a lot better. Good luck everyone!
