OMG! In the last year I have lost 35 pounds! I'm going to try to lose like 30 more this whole summer by walking 30 minutes everyday and eating right.

I'm 204 lbs now. I dropped another 6 lbs this past week. So, in the 3 weeks that I have been cutting back on food portions and exercising 2 hours a day I managed to lose 20 lbs. I have noticed a great deal of extra room in my shorts and t-shirts. This has made me incredibly happy. I will post in 2 weeks what my new weight is... I suspect at this rate I will probably lose 10 more pounds by then. Hopefully it will be more and not less. Good luck to you all! And keep up the motivation!

I have lost about 10 lbs in the past month actually. All I have been doing is going to my schools track and joggin /walking for 35-40 minutes. Then I go to the weight room and lift. Once I get home I do 200 crunches and tone the rest of my body. I cut out red meat and am trying not to eat as much bread. I love bread!!! SO it needs to go. ALso I have been drinking water like mad. I also dont snack on the sugary foods anymore. I do have desert once a week though. Otherwise I would feel really deprived. I still have a lot to lose though. Here's hoping!

OKay this is my first post. I can remember that I was always the fat girl. When I was 6 years old I weighed 100 lbs. My heaviest was around 194 lbs. As I grew up I lost a lot of it but about a year ago I was still 175. I started jogging every day and cutting back on what I was eating. I am now 154 lbs. I have about 20 lbs to lose still but I have hit this plateau. I really don't know what to do to make those pounds come off!

i met my 30 lbs. lost mark! i started at 173 and i'm down to 143- so only 10 more to go till my weight goal! i still have a lot i have to do to improve my body though- but exersize and atkins will help. i've lost ther majority of my weight(about 26lb, but i also had gained a little back) on a low calories balanced diet, then, when i got sick of my plateau i switched to atkins which is great. i've been on it for 5 days and i've lost a lot and a lot of inches are gone. yay!keep it up guys- if i can do it so can you!!!

Well it's one week later from my last posting, and I am 210lbs now. I did lose another 5 lbs. as I expected to lose. So from 225 to 210 in 2 weeks is not that bad! I am sure that first week when I lost 10lbs. about 5 lbs. of that was probably water weight---I am going to continue what I am doing to lose the weight. Next week Monday I expect to be about 205lbs. I am 12 years old, and about a month and a half ago I was 154 pounds. I am now 138, and still shedding pounds. I am on the SOuth Beach Diet. It is basically a low carb diet, but it works. Hey everyone! I have lost 14 pounds in 2 months! Go me! Now I weigh 170, which is getting close to my end of the summer goal 150!I started at 184 :)

I was 225lbs last week. Today, one week later, I am exactly 215lbs. I exercised 2 hours a day for seven days last week. And I ate the same amount of calories that I burned during workout (about 1400 calories). It's funny, I never felt starved and ate whatever I want. The only thing I changed in my diet was portion control. I still ate my carbs and fatty foods but I made dam sure I would stay under 1400 calories. And the pounds melted off. I will continue this trend. I will post again next week Monday with my new weight. I hope I will lose at least 5 more pounds. My goal is to weigh 165lbs for my height of 5'9''. Hopefully by the first week of August I will be down to that weight. (I am going to L.A. in August, and I want to look dam good for all the hotties on the beach!) part of my fast weight loss is due to my age and gender. I hear from dieticians and expert weight-loss counselors that Young men 15-29 years of age is the group that loses the most weight in a short period of time due to our biological muscularity and higher metabolism.

Last summer I started my weight loss challenge. I was 144 pounds and I wanted to be at 130. I started on the weigh in page but I got distracted form it and stayed at my original weight. A few months ago I wanted to lose the weight again. I exercised every day and kept track of what I ate in a "food and exercise diary". I reached my first goal of 130 a few weeks ago and now I am working towards my next goal of 125 which I am very close to. My plan is to take small steps and get to 120 pounds by next fall. I know I can do it and I am so much happier now. People notice my weight loss and I am glad to know I can acheive my goals when I work hard.

Hey, I used to be 151, and now I'm 143.5!!!! I'm trying to get sown to 135, so 8.5 more lbs to go. I'm gonig to see how I like 135, and if I want to lose mroe weight, I'll go down to 125.
