Do some form of exercise for at least 30 minutes everyday. Eat fruits and vegetables and whole wheat bread, lean meats like chicken breast, salmon, tuna and cut back on the junk food and fried foods.

If you start now you will definately be sexy by the time your birthday comes around.
Remember not to starve yourself. Your metabolism slows down in order for you to live. It feeds off your muscle and so any food you eat it will hold onto it and pack it on as fat, just in case you starve again. But if you keep giving your body nutritious food it won't hold onto it, and your metabolism will speed up and you will lose weight. Like I said before it is SOO important to drink lots of water!
(Don't workout the same muscles 2 days in a row.)
Good luck!

hey i know how you feel I am also 18 and about to leave for college. I weighed for most of my life a lot more than my friends. And to be honest I hate myself because I cant see anything but me being fat. Well anyway I was 180ish and now i am down to about 137. All i did was a lot of excersice and a ton of fruits and veggies. I dont eat out very often and when I do its only once in awhile. I also quit eating red meat. I stick to chicken a lot. Make sure you drink lots of water too. OH and take vitamins so that you stay healthy. It will start to help you out. good luck

Hello Ali,
I want to tell you, your not alone! That is for sure! My worst time of the day for eating is after school. I'm just so use to coming home and grabbing something to eat! Its awful, and i'm trying so hard to break this habbit. Things that have helped me, as soon as u get home, have a glass of COLD water. It may help fill you up a bit, so you might not feel hungry, and head towards the fridge. Also, i tried chewing gum, it helps sometimes! Hope i helped u a bit! And good luck!

each day i plan out a meal and i go by that meal. if i am still hungry which most times i am not i eat a piece of fruit or have more veggies and drink lots of water. i get anywhere form 30 minutes to and 1 hour and a half in the morning and for the evening anywhere from half an hour to an hour and a half in the evening. so the min. is one hour of exercise. i usually never exceed two and a half hours of exercising. when i do exercise in the evening i make sure it's after my last meal. after that no food at all. i just drink lots of water and if i do happen to be a tad hungry i grab a piece of fruit. when i stepped on the scale i've noticed that i have lost weight.

I'm not a doctor, or anything, but my best advice is to worry more about getting healthy than anything. I went to college last year and because I didn't have a car, I walked everywhere and lost weight. So simple things like walking short distances like to a friends house instead of driving and drinking water instead of soda can help a lot. Also, take the stairs instead of the elevator and instead of McDonalds, go to Subway for meals. It's healthier.

Ok, katie.. I think i can help you out really quickly. There is a few things that surpress apetite.. On of these is excersise.. when people excersise, your body tightens up.. including your stomach.... which takes away a bit of the craving to eat. The other is to eat high fiber foods,.. beans, vegtables, fruits.. fiber tricks your mind into thinking your full when your nottry those out, and try to excersise and eat a bit better.. Mr. Dan:)
