I was recently on the Atkins plan and lost about 8 pounds in only 3 weeks. But i went off it because I couldn't stand the limited food choices. I gained all the weight back within a week. Anyway, i've been reading the success stories and I feel inspired once again to lose weight. THis time, I'll do the low calorie approach, with lots of exercise! I did that in the past, and I lost alot of weight! Hope this time around I won't gain it all back.

Well fasting is not all bad if you do it right...i fast for religious reasons and i find that ive lost about 5lb's in like a week and a half...it all depends on how you eat...like me when were fasting were supposed to eat like in the morning like at 5am like a light meal..full of fiber and stuff thatll sustain u for the rest of the day and we break our fast like at 5pm and ur not supposed to over eat...i usually eat a small meal with alot veggies...and around 7 i usually exercise and i dont eat after that...im never usually hungry...but i dont do this everyday...its just a month that we do it...after that i come back to my normal eating habits..so fasting is not bad as long as u do it RIGHT...but its not something that u shuld do all the time

Why would you even try the 3 day diet? You'll just gain it back once that time is up.

You shouldn't look towards diet pills or just diets because once you stop you will gain all the weight back. What is important is that you change the way you eat for life.

that diet's been around for ages. I did it when I was 13 and I hate to break it to you but it doesn't work. What happens is that you lose water weight so when you start eating normally you'll put it all back on.

well i havent reached my goal yet i have always had weight problem. i weighd 195 pounds and i went on a fad diet and lost over 70 pounds in 4 months but they are right fad diets dont work its been over year and now i weigh 230 pounds and i am only 5'4 . i now have a new goal i am going to loose 110 pounds in 11 months but i will do it the healthy way by dieting and being active i now have a membership to a gym so guys wish me luck i will keep u updated.

Please don't take them. You are way too young to be popping diet pills, and besides, they don't work anyway. I tried them a few years ago.

Hello,Don't let others get you down. Your okay. Try to be healthy, but not worry about your weight too much. I'm 5'4' & 147lbs. When I was younger I tried to be healthy & eveything & I was, but people insulted me. So, I gained. I weighed 176lbs. That was over a year ago. I've steadily watched what I ate & exercised to get back down to my original weight. I look good too, just as I used to when I was 13. Don't believe waifs who insult you or anyone else on here. They're either mean spirited or anorexic & want everyone to be so. I could starve myself, or take diet pills, but they will back fire later, so I don't. I instead eat right & exercise, both in healthy moderation. If you do starve or take diet pill you will ruin your metabolism & eventually become well over 200lbs. I know this not only from research, but also from family members. Don't try to be what your not.
