Have all the food in another room, like the kitchen then everyone dishes their one plate of food and then everyone eats in a different room. Try to get everything you want on that one plate because it'll be easy to overeat if you go back for more. Lastly, try talking with people around you, don't focus entirely on the food. The more conversation you're making the slower you're eating and more likely to not overeat. For dessert, either have your mom or someone else dish you some or only take a small plate through the buffet of dessert. Good luck guys with thanksgiving and I hope you don't feel stuffed. Sulay

your eating healthy! but mabbi your eating too much. try eating half of what you usually do. And then save the other half for later. And remember to ask yourself: Am I really hungry? or thirsty? and is my brain lying to me?

It gets me very angry because i've been working really hard in the gym. Since i'm away in college it's hard to know exactly what i'm eating but i have decided to start counting calories to keep my eating in check. I really want to get out of the 200's 33 pounds to go and hopefully i can get there before June but for now i just want to keep losing even if it's only 1 pound per week. Well i hope everyone is doing well good luck this week everyone =)

hey girl, i am college bound this fall and getting nervous about my eating habits there too...you might have already heard this tip but i have to say it works for me!! i eat on a six inch dessert plate. i've lost 60 lbs in a year without excercising this way! i eat whatever i like for the most part and only really limit my sweet-tooth to maybe one or two treats a week but you can have whatevr you like, eat what your friends eat just no seconds and don't overload the plate.....if u eat slow, enjoy it, you will feel full in the end. lol it's worth a try. and at school u can easily have your own plate set.

I have lost 2lb a week for the past 3 weeks and it doesnt even feel like im on a diet! Its so good I still eat junk food and have like 1700 cals a day and still lose weight! I do exercise a bit though. But it goes to show you dont need to starve yourself. I havent felt hungry or ever felt deprived I can eat anything so long as its in moderation. Soon ill have to cut back though as I lose weight. But right now Im really enjoying my "diet'!

People think that when you are on a diet you can't eat any of the foods you really like. If you don't eat these foods and then get off your diet and eat all these foods you will gain all the weight back. You can eat any food you like just cut back the portions. If you normally have 6 chicken nuggets just have 3.
