Belle- Your only 9 and already 5'1? Wow- your going to be a tall young lady!! I'm a PE teacher and have been for a long time now-Many of my students tell me the same thing-( I can't go outside) so my question to them was... ok then what are some exercises you can do inside based on some of things we do already in our class- hope this helps... #1- turn TV OFF- unless your doing wii just dance!!( We have it and love it-great workout!) #2- ask your mom to buy exercise videos @ store that look fun( fun is the key word)or # 3 go in your room- put your favorite music on and get moving by: jumping jacks,push-ups,sit-ups,stretches,jogging in place,dance moves(hey noones watching :)) twist turn karate kicks you name it- do this for about 5 of ur favorite songs- then slow it down with soft music and some yoga( if you know some) if not just restretch.... after all this is said and done- drink lots ... Welcome to the "I'm no longer in school and I eat cause I'm bored show...." You gained weight because there is nothing (such as your classes at school) to keep you from eating. Try doing activities with people to keep your mind off food.
