Ht. 5'2", Start: 214 lb, Today: 186 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 150 lb - Happy New Year, everyone! I hope to start this new year off right. My resolution was to lose 30 pounds. I have lost a good bit so far and I am hoping to do even better! I was down to 179 but after Thanksgiving, my birthday, and Christmas, it all went downhill. I am starting to get back on my diet, which is Weight Watchers, and exercise more. I have the Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatium Wii game and I am going to try to use it everyday. I am a very picky eater and I would like to know what you all eat that is low in calories and fat. I take my lunch to school so I dont have to eat all the greasy lunchroom food. Some things I like are chicken salad, Lean Cuisine meals, and Healthy Choice meals. What are some of the things you all like to eat? I have also learned that Cheddar Rice Cakes are delicious and very good for you. Any ideas?

Ht. 5'9", Start: 186 lb, Today: 186 lb (BMI %tile: 92), Goal: 150 lb - This year, I want to keep to 1700/1800 calories a day and have a balanced diet. So far I've eaten:
Breakfast: Granola and toast (300 cal, I make the granola and it's all natural). Snack: Grapes (20 cal?). Lunch: Sandwich (turkey, tomato, mustard, whole wheat: 220 cal). Snack: coffee bread (bad, I know: 200 cal). That's 960 calories, so I have about 800 left. What sort of dinner would round that out and balance protein/carbs/etc.?

Ht. 5'3", Start: 260 lb, Today: 260 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 100 lb - Oh, and P.S. One of my new years resolutions is all the things I said on my last post, you know losing weight, eating right and exercising! And plus I'm really concerned about one of my friends from school, who is more overweight than I am.

Ht. 5'3", Start: 260 lb, Today: 260 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 100 lb - I wish I was skinny, and I wish my family would help me lose weight! My gym teacher during my freshman year was REALLY concerned about me and my weight I am right now, and I want to please her. Yeah, and I really want to lose weight the RIGHT way, not having myself become anorexic or bulimic or anything like that! And my advice for you out there is to try your best to lose weight, you know-to exercise and eat right. And like my doctor says: "Control what goes in your mouth and out of your mouth." That means to control what you eat and what you say.

Ht. 5'9", Start: 186 lb, Today: 186 lb (BMI %tile: 92), Goal: 150 lb - I've been telling myself for 3 years that I would get down to a healthy weight, and I've only gained since. Today, the last day of the year, I went clothes shopping and found myself in size 16 pants while another girl about my age was trying on size 6. This year, I'm going to lose the 40 pounds that I've put on in the past few years and be able to wear a bathing suit next year without worrying about my belly and thighs. I'm going to lose inches from my belly, be able to run, and stop eating when I'm bored. Here's to starting!

Ht. 5'1", Start: 191 lb, Today: 191 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 110 lb - The new year was supposed to be my brand new start. I was so excited. I was going to exercise everday, like i did in the summer when I lost 10 pounds. But then I woke up today and saw that it was snowing, which put me in a bad mood. I was going to go for a walk today. And I had been waiting for a week for the other snow to clear up so I could exercise.

I've been exercising twice a day. Once after breakfast and once before i sleep. I eat about 1000 calories a day usually, give or take some. So any tips?

Ht. 5'5", Start: 222 lb, Today: 222 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 222 lb - Hello! If you arent allergic to or absolutely hate nuts, i have a diet for you. You should ba a vegetarian. For everyone saying "I love meat," and "don't you need protein," hear me out. Get rid of meat! It's better for you and the animals. Meat slows down your metabolism and it's calories are harder to get rid of! Eating vegetables and beans, for protein, instead of meat, will make you feel healthier and make it easier to loose weight. Of course, you will still need to exercise, but with a faster metabolism, weight loss will come easier. Trust me. Have you ever seen an overweight deer? No, because they don't eat meat, eat a lot of vegetables, and get execise. Thanks to Danny for setting me straight on this!
