i have not been here for long and hope this message will be replied. Recently i cut down on my diet by half and jog for 30 minutes a day. however, i decided that i'm still growing and decided to cut my ldiet slightly just avoiding those unhealthy (eg. fried food etc), drink lots of water and eat more fruits and veggies. if i change my diet but i jog for 60 minutes a day, do you think i will be able to lose weight?

Ht. 5'11", Today: 168 lb (BMI %tile: 78), Goal: 145 lb - howdy folks. I currently weigh around 168 pounds and i am 5' 11. the problem is, i still have a belly and a lot of extra weight in my thighs, butt, etc. At what weight will that excess flab disappear? I want to get down to 145...would i look scrawny then? Also, would the loose skin disappear? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Guys.. I've been following your advice, and I hope I can lose as much as possible by Saturday.. Ive been drinking tons of water.. lol.. and ive been eating lots of veggies.. my mom has to go food shopping cuz we dont have any fruit :-( Anyways, I think I got a good amount of excersize today.. do you know how much work it is to shovel a driveway covered in almost two feet of snow?? lol.. It was alot of fun though and I felt great after I was done even though I wanted to give up halfway through it. The only problem is sweets, ive been alot better lol.. but I think I just need to realize how unimportant they are.. it's been especially bad this week too, cuz well iits my time of the month really soon, and you know what that really bites.. cuz I always gain like 5 lbs the week before, and guess what this is the week! hehe for all you girls.. doesn't that fit wonderfully with the fact the ... Oh and I found the greatest drink thats low on cal/fat/carbs and is great for winter weather! Swiss Miss (i cant remember if this is the correct spelling) makes Diet hot chocolate.. 25 calories, 0 fat, and only 4 grams of carb, add hot water or skim milk and you have a healthy yummy treat for those of you with a sweet tooth.. hehe well bubeyes everyone. That isn't very healthy. No offense or anything, but your should only lose about 2-3 pounds a week...and since your still growing, you should eat atleast 1500 calories a day, so all that weight you lost is most likely going to come back with a few extra's. It's dangerous to do that.

Can I make a point to everyone that has posted their name and age at one time and then posted theirself "annonymously". Start: 165 lb, Today: 158 lb, Goal: 125 lb - WHoa!!!~~wut a nice suprise this morning. I'm finally better, but with everything I ate while I was sick i thought for sure that I would have gained sum weightbut omg I didn't! I lost two pounds which sets me back to 158. Ok we had practice all week with a basketball game on thursday and we wont that game and everyone got to play because we were winning by so much 42-14 was the final score. So I have been excercseing a lot. I have also had gym and have been doing taebo and weightlifting everyother day. We have another game today at 415 and we have to be there at 345 and I hope I can get to play because the only way I get to go in is if we are winning by some points. We need to win because we are playing our rival we are the river rats because we are on a river and they are the swamp rats because they use to be a swamp where there school is at. Our team names are islanders us and red knights them so we have to beat the swamp rats. Wish me luck and good luck to all of you.

i ate a 300 calorie breakfast but in that 300 calories there were 12 grams of fiber! man am i full! fiber is great for weight loss- try to eat as much as you can in healthy foods. a lot of high fiber foods are whole wheat bread and veggies. you can also get fiber supplements. they make it so that you're acctually consuming less calories because the indigestable-fiber clings to certain things(like cholesteral) depending on the type of fiber and pushes it through your system.
