i have not been here for long and hope this message will be replied. Recently i cut down on my diet by half and jog for 30 minutes a day. however, i decided that i'm still growing and decided to cut my ldiet slightly just avoiding those unhealthy (eg. fried food etc), drink lots of water and eat more fruits and veggies. if i change my diet but i jog for 60 minutes a day, do you think i will be able to lose weight?

Yeah anne, you see that worked. 21 lbs. wow, I lost that in a month. how long did that take you?

i wouldn't suggest a starvation diet- but those are the diets under 1200 a day- not 1450 cal.s a day. but anyways- it'll not be good for your metabolism unless you're planning on some really hardcore exersizing for a long time everyday to keep your metabolism at a regular rate. what has been helping me(i lost 21 pounds so far- 19 more to go) is trying to add in a lot of veggies into my diet and natural- unprocessed foods. i eat 1200-1500 calories a day and i try to get at least a 30 min. workout of taebo or another aerobic workout a day(didn't do that last week but concentrated on my diet a lot and still lost a pound) and i drink tons of water a day- especially if i worked out hard. i also switched for adding sugar to things to adding splenda or other substitutes to get rid of my cravings. good luck!take it one step at a time. with the info i gave you you should lose about 2 pounds a week- it works that way with me if i keep up the exersize. i also use to help me keep track of my calories burned and consumed and make sure that you pay attention to the serving size!

Well, eh, first's the CALORIES and HOW MUCH you eat. Don't pig out on the so called healthy stuff, because calories add up. A moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips. Make sure to eat smaller portions of food. I really don't eat the norm cals. I eat under 1000cals, which anything under 1450cals in a day is called a starvation diet. You probably eat 1000-1500cals, when I eat 250. If I eat a lot, I dont feel good. I run for 30 minutes. I stay in shape. Consider this... eat 800-900cals a day, jog for 30 minutes and you should lose weight pretty fast. When you get to your goal weight. Keep on with your diet to stay in shape! just rase it from 800-900 cals to 900-1000cals.

hey well i'm totally sure that u'll lose weight its seems that u are trying to lose weight and everything your doing seems healthy i'm sure that u'll lose the weight since you're eating healthy and since you're running you'll lose it even faster well my best wishes to you :)

As long as you burn more calories than you consume and do it in a healthy way, you should lose weight :o)
