Ht. 5'8", Today: 147 lb (BMI %tile: 77) - Hey everyone! I was here around 2 years ago...(I think) and I am doing pretty good. I check BB occasionally, and now have decided to post. I'm around 5'8", and 146.5 pounds; somewhat happy.
Oh, and another really cool thing. On that new "Kids helping Kids" section... I have 6 of my previous posts in it. I looked through them all, and the whole section is really helpful. =)

Start: 212 lb, Today: 187 lb - Hey everyone. I found this site and it looks helpful for overweight people.When I decided to lose weight I was 212lbs. and with eating less and excersizing, especially in gym class I am now down to 187lbs.I was wondering what I could do during the winter time, its freezing outside right now, and I don't know what I can do for excersize. I did have gym in school, but no longer do I have it. I kind of feel embarrased to excersize or do things like that with my parents around, it just seems weird.What do you guys think?

Okay, if you follow this plan then you can lose 3 inches in one week. Eat 3 healthy meals a day and 2 snacks. The first snack must be a fruit or vegetable and that goes the same for the second snack. In the morning, do 60 situps and 30 sidebends to each side. Make sure you are doing these exercises to the full extent and that you are doing them properly because if you won't see results. Before you go to bed, do 60 situps and then 30 sidebends on each side as you did in the morning. It will hurt the next day, believe me, but you must keep doing it for it to work. One week of exercising will be much worth the weight loss so keep to it!! It will be very uncomfortable at first, but you what you will accomplish should keep you going. Whoever ends up doing this, please end up posting how many inches youve lost!

wow- i really messed up on my diet tonight and i felt so disgusting. i promised to myself that i'll never ever eat myself sick again like i did tonight. it was more pain then joy. tomorrow i'm going to do great though- and i did drink a little over a gallon of water today so hopefully it wasn't a complete waste! i'm going to exersize a lot but i know that my week isn't destroyed by this- i might even lose more weight because of this because it's gotten me to do more about it. i've had 4 really good days and then 3 really bad days and still lost 2 pounds- heck- i did that last week! i was just a little stressed and bummed and depressed about school but after marty got out of work he made me feel so much better. he's my bestest friend in the entire world and i know that i can change my life however i want to with him by my side because i'm not so afraid of failing because he'll stick... Hiyas, Having abit of a rut. Ive been on my diet now for a couple weeks, and have just been eating healthy and avoiding rubbish junk foods. That worked great for a while but now i have lost 10lbs and i seem to be stuck at this weight, im still eating healthy but my weight doesnt seem to be going down! any ideas?

Hey everyone, i'm home sick today too... It seems like a lot of people are. I've eaten pretty well today, (considering the fact I can't swallow without severe pain haha) and I just read some of your posts, and alot of you seem to be doing really well, I'm really proud of you. And one of the posts said that in the end you have to lose weight for yourself, and I totally agree with that statement. It makes me think that I need to write down what my motivations are maybe that will help me in the long run. Let's see I almost wish I was at school cuz I'm really bored... So I guess I will end up studying or something.. and of course excersize =P. For some reason since thanksgiving, even though I ate pretty well, I don't have enough motivation. I really would like someone to talk to preferably someone my age, and for some reason e-mail isn't working, It has to be parental controls or something... (view more)

Today: 175 lb, Goal: 140 lb - hey im sure y'all dont care but now till jan 1st i'm gonna lay back on the diet a LITTLE but still excersice and stuff and then starting jan first i want to lose weight alot! like i will go down from 175 which i am now to 140 by the end of may

Hi i have just realized somthing thatll change alot..snakcking is my problem!I mena, i eat 2-3 super healthy meals a day, and each night when i think back to all the extra crap i ate...its ALL snacks!!! GAK~!~ puleaze help lol ive never realiesed this before, and like, for example,. today after school as a snakc i had a burger kind veggie burger combo.....which in cludes a huge drink, veggie burger(healthy) and onion rings! is dancing 5 hours a week enough cardio exercise? I also do this thingy its suposed to do cardio but i dunno its weird its clalled "Gazelle"...anyone have one? anywyas its just like swinging back and forth and if i go reallllyyyy fast i break into the tiniest sweat...will i sttill loose weight if i do that for 220 minutes liek 5 times a week?...even if i dont sweat??please reply, im desprite here!
