Ht. 5'4", Today: 138 lb (BMI %tile: 82) - Hi everyone!!What is a good way to NOT give into temptations to pig out and eat junk food?? i'm 5'4 and i weigh about 138 lbs. YUCK!!!! my mom is telling me CONSTANTLY to get out and exercise but i feel like i just can't do it!! like no matter how hard i would try..i feel like it just wouldn't pay off!! i don't want to be a fat kid for the rest of my life!!! ANY GOOD TIPS AND POINTERS AND ADVICE WOULD BE OF GREAT APPRECIATION!! LET ME KNOW!!! ~SHENEQUA~

Put a small amount of your favorite junk foods into baggies, and tell yourself you can only have one a day.
If you do some substantial exercise, like go hiking for a day, or a bike trip... allow yourself two bags as a reward for the extended exercise. The junk won't counterbalance the exercise, it will give you a good burst of evergy. Just be sure to bring granola and energy bars too. =)

hi. i'm 5'4" also, but i'm 132lbs...trying to get to 115lbs. exercise doesn't have to be a bore...try swimming, basketball, tennis, soccer, etc...or if you are interested in doing exercise videos i recommend taebo, walk away the lbs, pilates, or maybe try a dancing video like darrins dance grooves or something. and if you eat pizza...blot up the extra grease with a napkin or paper towel.

It is really easy. For diet just eat what you want just have small portions eat half of whatever you usually eat for example if you usually eat 2 pieces of pizza just eat one from now on. Okay and for exercise do something that is easy anf fun to you. Like go for a walk or bike ride for 30 minutes everyday.
