I have been sick since Monday with a fever (104 was the highest) and an extremely bad sore throat. My mom is taking me in to the doctors today to see if I have strep.
My problem is that since Monday I have lost 3.5 pounds in around two days... because it is around 9:45 in the morning right now. There is a noticable difference in my body (love handles... stomach). Is it a problem to be losing that much weight?

It is completely normal to lose that much weight if you are sick. And you most likely won't gain any of it back. Whenever I'm sick I lose alot of weight also. Don't worry about it!

No because when you are sick it is really easy to lose weight, and normal because it is hard to eat. For example, Once when I had the stomach flu I lost like 6 pounds in three days, so to answer your qustion it is normal, and you won't lose that much weight that quickly afterwards though, cuz you won't be sick. But don't worry it's normal.

Sorry... I posted before I finished my question. I meant: "Is it a problem to lose that much weight in 2 days?"
