Ht. 5'10", Start: 410 lb, Today: 430 lb (BMI: 62), Goal: 250 lb - Hey everybody, I posted here back in November and a couple times after that. I can't stick to any diet and my fiancée and my family tell me I'm OK like I am. But now I REALLY need some advice. My fiancée and I are going to get married on May 3 and I need to loose weight fast. We went to see about clothes on Saturday and my finacee wants me and my best man and ushers (my brothers) to wear gray and when I tried stuff on I look like the Goodyear blimp, it didn't help that nothing fit and the places we went (3) said they'd have to make my suit to special order, real expensive.
So, I GOTTA LOSE WEIGHT FAST. I've been checking out the Body by Vi challenge. Has anybody done it? Does it work? Please let me know. Thanks.

Ht. 169 cm, Start: 85 kg, Today: 83 kg (BMI %tile: 92), Goal: 60 kg - So I'm going to start a diet again today. It feels like year after year, month after month this is the only goal I can't succeed at. I need encouragement, so I decided to join this site to keep track of my progress. My birthday is less than a month away and I know I'm going to feel like crap if I'm still at the same weight. Any thoughts on juice fasting?  (Note: 169 cm, 83 kg is 5'7", 183 lb.)

Ht. 5'5", Start: 235 lb, Today: 235 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 120 lb - So now that I'm 18 my parents have agreed to take me to a weight loss resort next week in Mexico, that I've been wanting to go forever. I will be having full body smart lipo and a full tummy tuck. I can't wait to show off my new body this summer after these two procedures! I just wished my parents would have allowed me to do it sooner.

Ht. 5'4", Start: 232 lb, Today: 217 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 140 lb - Ok, So doing good so far. The idea is to eat something different and not the same old thing. That was my problem before. I'm on the low carb low sugar diet (Jorge Cruise: Belly Fat Cure) I recommend that. That's how i've been losing weight. Anyways, I was eating the same old stuff day after day because I didn't know what else to cook or make. For breakfast now, I'll have 2 scrambled eggs, 4 slices turkey bacon & like cheese stick or 1/4 cup avocado. Or an omelet with turkey bacon, cheddar cheese and spinach in it. It's good. Have to wake up earlier to make it though. Dinner - Crispy Chicken parmesan & Zucchini Cheese fries. Something like that and for a treat an atkins coconut chocolate bar...it has 1g sugar and 1g carb. it's been working for me! :) New year new beginnings right?

Ht. 5'5", Start: 190 lb, Today: 130 lb (BMI: 22), Goal: 127 lb - Hi everyone! So, I'm seeing a lot of people who are struggling to lose weight and are trying to figure out where to start. I struggled all of my life with weight, and just recently made the switch to a healthy life style about 2 years ago. However, I haven't forgotten how utterly difficult and impossible the process seemed at times. Losing weight is hard. No one can deny that. However, there are 2 things that I found helpful when starting my journey:
1) Put yourself on an eating schedule. If you don't do anything else, do that. It will give you some semblance of self control. Try eating every 2 hours at first (breakfast, 2 hours later a snack, 2 hours later lunch, etc). In between that 2 hours, don't allow yourself to snack. It will give you a chance to get used to not snacking constantly, and make you aware of when you are and aren't hungry. Gradually, you... (view more)

Ht. 5'9", Start: 203 lb, Today: 224 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 175 lb - The holidays have not been kind! Ive but on 6 pounds and I just can't seem to control myself. I think I might take a break from trying to lose weight. Try to maintain and get comfortable with the realization that I am fat and not getting any skinnier!

Ht. 5'10", Start: 413 lb, Today: 423 lb (BMI: 61), Goal: 250 lb - I totally gave up trying to cut back on the eating. No support from family at all. Thanksgiving was an excuse to pack on more weight. My girlfriend keeps telling me I don't need to lose weight, can any of your ladies here tell me why? I thought ladies didn't like bug fat guys.

Ht. 5'5", Start: 508 lb, Today: 508 lb (BMI: 85), Goal: 175 lb - I'd like to find more people who can talk about life being seriously overweight... I am unable to get around and don't have many friends, I have mobility issues and can't take care of myself, I want to be able to talk to someone else I can be honest with who is going through the same thing? Male or female. It's is hard to feel like anyone will ever want to be close to the body I have.

Ht. 5'9", Start: 203 lb, Today: 218 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 175 lb - Hi Everyone,
I'm new here, but I've been trying to lose weight for years. It's never really bothered me, but those around me have commented on it a lot. I started trying to lose weight going daily to the gym and eating healthier foods, but I keep getting fatter because even though I'm eating those healthier foods i still sneak the cookies and other junk but I know I'm not fooling anyone. Sometimes I think whatever, I'll just get fat I dont care, I can still find a boyfriend who will like me even though I'm fat. I dont know should I just give up I dont know what else to do.

Ht. 5'10", Start: 413 lb, Today: 410 lb (BMI: 59), Goal: 250 lb - First of all I wanna thank Luna for her advice. I want to ask all of you if anyone has tried Weight Watchers or Overeaters Anonymous. Did they help you? I went to the doctor two weeks ago and he told me that my blood pressure and cholesterol are normal and that if I don't lose weight now I have the potential to end up weighing 600 or 700 pounds. I asked him fo help with a diet and all he did was tell me "cut back on what you eat." That's no help, I know that already. The problem is I always have had ahuge appetite and when I was in school I used to make money by getting into eating contests, like "Man vs Food" on TV. Most of my friends were chubby and so we'd bet who could eat the most ice cream, or Whoppers, or whatever. I always won and was quite a celebrity. I still am with my buddies. I've managed to lose 3 pounds so far but it's torture. ... (view more)

Ht. 5'10", Start: 413 lb, Today: 413 lb (BMI: 59), Goal: 250 lb - Hey everybody. My name is Richie and I'm seriously overweight and ready to drop some serious pounds. When I graduated from high school in 2008 I was the same height I am now and only 297, so I've put on 116 pounds in 3 years. I was always a fat kid, weighing 200 lbs in 7th grade and played football in high school, and ate big to play center. When football season ended I was 265. I go to college and work 40 hours a week as assistant manager at a restaurant. Everyone in my family is overweight and so is my girlfriend. Last week at work I squatted down to pick up something that dropped and my pants split all the way up the back (size 60). That incident made me take a step back n take a look at how fat I've gotten. I'm aslig for some advice from you all about how to start a diet. I've been trying to cut back on my intake since last week... (view more)

Ht. 5'7", Start: 155 lb, Today: 179 lb (BMI: 28), Goal: 145 lb - Last time I checked I was 178lbs. I gained about 20 lbs in a matter of 7 months. Im not sure how I did. It is terrifying and I decided I didnt want to look at the scale yet. I just want to do my best with eating and exercising and then I will weigh in a couple of weeks. I also have a lot of other decisions to follow through with. I am trying to quit drinking and smoking as well. i just want to feel better about life. I have actually been on this site since I was 14 and I know how much support there is here. Thank you in advance and I am so glad they made an 18+ board.
