IT TOOK ME 2 MONTHS AND ALL I DID WAS EXERCISE EVERY DAY LIKE 50 SITUPS AND DONE GYMNASTICS AND SWIMMING AND NEVER ATE FAST FOOD. ATE THINGS LIKE BAKED POTATO, NOODLES, SOUP AND FRUIT AND VEG I NEVER GAVE UP JUNK FOOD CRISPS OR SWEETS JUST DIDN'T EAT AS MUCH OF IT

Hello everyone! I'm going to be the positive person for today! I'm currently 5ft 6in and 118lbs. I used to be like everyone else in here....i weighed 207lbs. But one day something came over me....i knew that this was unhealthy for myself. I didn't want to lose weight to look better....but to be healthy. But there are only 3 things you need to lose weight, three important things: sensible foods, Exercise & Will power. with these three things you'll have the most ideal weight. at first you'll feel that it takes too long and be discouraged....well i'll be honest, yeah it does take long....but if u work at it now....by the summer time you'll be feeling a lot better than u do today. I will tell you what worked for me but please patient because it does take time. Decide on a sensible calorie intake - anything from 1300 to 1500 a day and then stick to it. Find out how many calories everything is - loads of lists on the internet - and how much fat content and write everything down you eat. Very boring but that way you will be able to keep track. Get your mum to buy lower fat food and make sure you eat plenty of fruit and veg and drink like loads of water. Try and exercise more and avoid foods that are high in fat. Good luck.

Hi, I've got a suggestion for you. Don't think about all the fatty chocolate foods think about being thin and going to the beach. two more things don't eat all those things you mentioned eat fruits or something like that. Throw away all the junk food and don't let it come into your house again. Also stay on a steady excerise program. do something u enjoy

Victoria i'm your age and just a little taller than you. Don't worry I feel Just like you. No words of reassurance, but eat only half of what you eat every day! I'm just a beginer. Try going on the New Chat line they really help! Just drink on elesser can of soft drink. That's all I can say. See ya and good luck!!!

Please don't despair. I know exactly how you feel. I am on a diet as well, although my mum has warned me it will be a gradual process although I want to lose the weight like instantly.
The first thing to do is to talk to somebody close to you about this and get their support i.e. your mum or a close relative or even an understanding friend. Your self esteem seems very low right now but once you start losing the weight then you will start to feel better about yourself but it won't be instant. You have to be extremely strong willed and cut out all the foods that are high in fat i.e. burgers and high in calories - which is just about everything that tastes good. It will be very, very hard at first but once you have got over that first period then you will begin to feel better about yourself.
