Hello! I am 15 years old. I am currently 5'5 and weigh 190 lbs. I have been trying to lose weight for awhile and nothing seems to work for me. I am interested in losing around 50-60 lbs. Losing this much weight will put me in my healthy weight range. I aslo have set a goal for myself. I would like to wear a size 9 in pants by the middle or the end of the summer. I am currently wearing either a size 13 or 15 depending on the pants. I am not sure what my waist size is but I know it is bigger than I want it to be. Is there anyone out there who has any advice for me on losing weight? I am willing to try almost anything to lose the weight. Most of these people just want to lose like 10-30 lbs but I ned to lsoe ALOT more. Thank you for your time and I thank you in advance for any information and help that you can give me. Thanks again.

I am so depressed. my life is hell. When i look in the mirror and see my 250 lb flubber i want to die. my friends have all gone on diets and look as gorgeous as geri halliwell but i am still as obese as a whale.when i ask them about this they say they'd much rather have my generous boobs but i'd much rather have a bum that fits into oridnay size 6 jeans. Whe I went to this slumber party with all the cool girls my nightshirt burst open and my huge stomach flopped out like a bowl of jello- now they look at me as if i'm a freak. i feel out of place and I diet all the time but i binge like crazy. i am considering anorexia- it seems like the only way out- and yet i know it wouldn't last. I have toget my school uniform specially made coz my waist is 42!!!! Please help me before I hurt myself

The truth about carbs. Carbohydrates come from any type of bread. such as pasta and bread. The thing about it, is that if you dont work out directly after eating it, it stores to fat. The best Idea to keep in mind is to try to eat whole weat bread, or to cut back any type of bread substances from your daily intake.

Wow !!!!! I went on this website to look up some things for my 10 year old daughter that tends to gain weight very easy and instead I ended up replying to so many of you. Here are some tips since there isn't time to write to everyone. It's late now, when my daughter gets home tomorrow I'll show her this and we'll read these together. Please read below for a few tips that have helped me stay a good weight for years.
We are all God's Creations and He doesn't make junk!! Your heart is what he see's. Keep it right and you'll be fine- Stop for a few minutes, think about some foods you do like that aren't fattening- like salads with lowfat dressings- get in the habit of nibbling on things that have no fat content in them. Go for a walk every day and night if you can and start eating a lot of fruit, a lot of vegetables without butter or margarine, try and eat some baked fish every week!!... (view more)

hey everyone, i am about to turn 13. I am jewish and i am going to have a bat mitzvah, but none of the dresses fit me right! i feel like my stumache is hanging out, even tho my mom says it looks fine. Like i said, im turning 13 and i weigh 116. this may not seem like a terror to u, but lately some of the people at school make rude comments. i feel so depressed, i dont know what to do! please someone help me! i am soo upset.

I have always been really overweight, since I was a baby. I do try to diet but I just end up eating everythig insight. I really want a boyfriend but no-one seems interested, because of my appearance. They just assume that I'm a lazy slob pigging out on everything I see. I weigh about 150 pounds. We had to do this test with the school nurse where she weighs you and tells you if your healthy. She was really shocked when she saw how much I weighed and it was so embarrassing coz my two friends were there as well. I just want to go on a healthy diet which will work. Any suggestions??

Hi! Im not really overweught or anything, judt 110 pounds, but i really feel like i need to take off ten pounds. all my friends are like, only 90 pounds. Im really short so it makes me seem fat. people are even starting to comment. does anyone have any ideas on how to loose weight fast? besides eating right, i need something faster then that.

Hey I feel really messed up coming to this site but I'm 170 pounds (bathroom scale not too reliable sience 2-4 days ago it said I was 150 pounds) I'm not real fat but I'm tall about 5'5"-5'7" I am also big boned. "MY TIP OF THE DAY"
Small portions no large portions. It is very true that when people tend to eat 3 or 4 large meals a day, the not only get fatiged and tired, but also seem to put on weight if their matabolism is low. It is most sensible to eat small portions of food every 2 or so hours. Food can consist of vegtables, fruits, or perhaps just a glass of skim milk or juice. You find that when you eat more often in small quanties, it speeds up you matabolism significantly and also doesnt make you feel as hungry all the time!
