Now that I am over 250 pounds I have realized that I am VERY overweight and I need to do something about it. I have tried dieting before but it never worked, this time tho I am going to have to really lose some of my weight. I can't seem to stop eating tho! I just do it without even thinking about it all the time! I'm gonna start exercising but how do I stop wanting to eat 24/7??? help!!!!!!!!!!

Let's see if anybody even notices this message...since nobody ever cares to comment. I thought this was a board where we all helped and suppored eachother? hmm..oddly enough I'm starting to doubt that. Yep. Now I'm done. Just needed to get that off my chest.

Ht. 5'2", Start: 322 lb, Today: 322 lb, Goal: 200 lb - I am OBESE and I know I am. But so what??? I LOVE to eat and I couldn't care less if it's making me fat. Both my parents are overweight and they don't care, they let me eat whatever I like. I'm only having to lose weight because my health is at risk just now so the doc says. Surely having a bit more fat than others isn't going to kill!? But how am I meant to do it when I'm to heavy/big to do exercise and all we have in the house is junk food? I don't think I'm going to be able to do it coz I HATE healthy foods. What do you guys do to lose the fat?????

Ht. 5'4", Start: 170 lb, Today: 174 lb, Goal: 115 lb - OMG! i lost 5 pounds! well im on a diet that really works! its called the Atkins Diet and it sooooo awsome. you can eat bacon, you can have whip cream not cool whip. its soo awsome, so if your looking for a good diet do the Atkins diet. who knows what i'll look like at halloween! the Atkins diet is awsome, you all should try it!

Hi everyone! My name is Kyla. I am 16 and extremely over weight. I hate feeling like I look horrible all the time. I really need support losing weight because I can't do it on my own! I have tried a lot of different ways to lose weight, but none of them have worked. One of the problems, is I have a problem w/ being consistant. And now I have Asthma, and I know that my health is just going to get worse if I do not do something about my weight.
If there is anyone that would be interested in being my "weight buddy", let me know. Basically, we would check w/each other everyday and make sure we drank our water, excersied, ect. Then at the end of the week, we would do a weight check w/each other.

I have tried so many times before to lose the weight and nothing has worked but this time I'm gonna do my best because I'm putting my health badly at risk by being this big. I'm not too close to my family so I'm going to need all the help and support I can get from you lot. I know I need to exercise but I love to eat, even when I'm not hungry I eat. Theres no one here to stop me from doing it and once I start eating I just want more and more! Food is a total addiction to me, how do I stop it??? any help would be great thanx!

Ht. 5'4", Start: 157 lb, Today: 146 lb, Goal: 125 lb - me and my friend are going to go running everyday before school. 15 minutes-5 times a week, do you think even though its just 15 minutes a day with smaller portions of food i could still loose like 10lbs a week/ or is it not enough excersice to do anythind impactful?

Ht. 5'2", Start: 150 lb, Today: 150 lb, Goal: 125 lb - Okay, so i just started pre-season for a fall sport yesterday. we have 4 hour practices everyday untill school starts, and then we will go down to 2 hour practices unless we have games. i know i`m getting a lot of good exercise from this because my body is constantly aching because of the physical activity. so the point of this post is, if i do this exercise and eat this daily: breakfast - 3/4 cup TOTAL cereal and fruit. lunch - 2 fruits and a vegetable. dinner - some kind of salad(no dressing) with a small serving of a pasta dish and some vegetables. will i be able to lose weight if i eat this and do the exercise with my sport??

Ht. 5'2", Start: 203 lb, Today: 168 lb, Goal: 125 lb - how much weight do you think I could lose in 19 days for my school pictures. This is what I had today it was a bad day though. Breakfast Honey nut cheerois. Snack 90 cal bar. Lunch cooked ham lunchmeat sandwhich no mayonasse, 100 cal pak, another 100 cal pak and water. For supper 2 small hotdogs, rice with peas, chicken and carrots in it and teryaki noodles not even 1/2 cup, water. Later on a small hamburger with just ketchup and extra pickles. For exercise 20 min basketball, and 25 min walk. How did I do? Should I do more exercises or what. I'm gonna start doing about an hour of stuff if I can after school
