hi yall...first of all i want to wish you all good luck on your weight managment and congrats to any weight comeing off! k now i would like some help. im 243 lbs and im 5'7 iv been dieting since last year but i wasnt really sticking to it but i did loose 30 lbs... but that was in the whole year. Id like some exercise tips ..i think i have control of the food thing...but the exersice is what i really need to work on. I used to have a tredmil b/c i hate running outside i just feel really self consious bout it. My brother broke the tred mill so i dont have anything like that...is there anything u can suggest i use at home that would really wokr. IM not looking for something that will help me loose fast i know that if i take it slow it will end up staying off in the long run. thats why my goal is just at hte most 40 lbs by june. My complete over all goal is 170 i know its alot but its what i want to be at. Help me Please!! and good luck all!!!!!

Hey...u were sayin something like you should stop trick or treating at 12...HELLO it's not just for little kids...I still do it and alot of my friends stil do, too! One is almost 16. And I've heard of some adults\college kids doing it, too. A note to everybody: you're never too old for trick or treating!!!!!!!!!! :)

Can somebody please help me? I'm 5'5 and i weigh 280 lbs the doctors said i need to weigh 130-135 lbs and i need some help on how to do this, i want to be happy and i dont wont to die at a young age for being so overweight, somebody please help me!

I am 16, 5'9" and 180(ish) pounds. I am in Germany for the year on a student exchange, and I think this is the perfect opportunity to loose the weight I want to loose. I have access to alot more stuff here, like a real gym class and stuff. But as i was "mapping out my road" for loosing weight, I realized that I dont know what i good target weight is. I have until July, when i go back home, so I think I can achieve some of my goal, if not all of it. But I dont know what my goal should be!!! Does anyone know??

Kristi, don't kill yourself. I read a story about a lady who was like 400+ pounds, and one day she was like, "Im not going to spend my life thinking about weight...i want to live life by its fullest." She then for a year or so thought of anything but her weight. She's make scrapbooks of her life, do service projects to help OTHERS, etc. She also drank a bunch of water and only made healthy food choices, and walked a mile or two every day and went from a size 28 or so to a 4 in like a year or so! Just believe in yourself and look at the positive! Be strong!

THIS PLAN WORKS:
breakfast- cereal (preferbly wholemeal) and skimmed or semi skimmed milk.
lunch- an apple, pear and a HUGE bowl of sald (i like to put tuna without the juice in it- no mayo though)
dinner- grilled fish steak or an egg white omlette.
drinks- as much water as you want. three cans of diet coke per WEEK.
i have followed this for a week and have lost 9lbs!! how cool is that?? whhooooooo

okay every time i say im going to stop chewing so much gum i dont.. but i jsut read osmethign and chewing sugar gum is definitley empty calories just like candy.. id ont know how much cals i consume though cuz i spit it out so fast to go right back adn pop in another piece! lol But anyway yeah thats 800 additional calories i got from chewing 80 pieces a day!! yeah a lot lol.. but i need some motivation to quit!!! i think im going to just drink water when i crave chewing on something, and only chew max 10 pieces per day... lol that sounds like a smoker. Terrible but thats only 100 cals vs. 800 empty ones! any ideas to keep me on track? Thanks so much

Hey, I need some help. I am 15 and about 5'3 and weigh about 180-185lbs. I am miserable! My weight is causing depression and I do not like it. I have tried dieting and I even was anerexic before......I know it is not the right way to lose weight now but I was despirate. I hate looking in the mirror. I exersize a half an hour befor I sleep and I do not eat much. I eat enough to be healthy but still. I do about 200 crunches but the only thing is the only thing seams to be getting thinner is my upper abs and my lower stomach stays at 42 inches. And my upper went from 40 to 34 inches. But I hate my stomach and need help on what kinda of exersizes I should do. Please help me. I am so unhappy. I am even going to my doctor today about my depression so please Write me......Thank you soo much
